Sophie Nails Spa in Bohemia, NY

Started coming here when I was pregnant and during covid. Very clean and everyone was so nice after having the baby I continued to come and have now brought my friends and daughter. We come every two weeks and look forward to our visit. Everyone is extremely nice and always help us with whatever we need. They also do an amazing job with stiletto nails which is hard to come by!

I've been going to this nail salon for over 10 years. Moved away and tried other places but keep going back, even though it's a half hour away now. The service is excellent the staff makes you feel like family and I always leave loving my nails.

I am very unhappy here you never see me here the wife was nasty .And they try to get me because they rip me off - But they were nasty even the one across the street Bad experience and a nasty woman-please sure they are better one-But vey nasty people here even though it's a family owner-but rude and nasty-

I have been coming here for 2 years & liked the way my nails were done, however lately the gel starts to chip within a week. Polish seems old. My biggest issue is that the owners r not very nice. I tip well, don't make anything an issue & yet Jack still doesn't know my name nor is he nice on a consistent basis. I'm starting to feel that this salon doesn't give me a warm welcoming feeling. When I pay for a service, it shud b a nice relaxing experience. I'm not feeling it!!!

I've been here a handful of times because yes, their prices are low but I will never be going back. I am a 20-year-old girl small and petite which right off the bat screams "take advantage of me" because I don't look like I'd stand my ground. I got the gel powder and the wife of the owner (Jack), did my nails and I complained halfway through they were looking a little thick and not filed nicely, she seemed bothered and did the bare minimum to fix it. She finishes, I'm hoping the more I can see them from my perspective they'd look better, no. I went up to Jack and said these do not look nice they're very thick and bubbly. He responded "It'll look better once you wash your hands", I said no that's not what would fix it, he said gel powder is supposed to be thick, I said yes... but this looks like I have olives at the ends of my fingers. I hate this place, it's gotten worse and worse as time goes on. They take on too many costumers at once and then rush on the person they are currently treating to. Splurge the extra couple bucks somewhere else, I bet you'll get your money's worth.
