Solar Nails & Spa in Pocatello, ID

This was my first experience ever in a nail salon. My daughter is graduating so I decided to take her and get a pedicure as a treat for both of us. Neither of us have ever had a pedicure or manicure so we have nothing to judge it by. It started off bad by the shop being closed despite me having made an appointment previously. I called the number and the owner answered and said she forgot and she would get dressed and come right over. She drove into the parking lot like a crazy person and it was clear she had just rolled out of bed and threw on clothes. She then proceeded to sit us in the chairs while she was on the phone for 10 minutes. The water was HOT. I mean seriously HOT. I put my feet in and had to immediately pull them back out. My feet looked like red lobsters. She clipped my daughter's toenails so short and in an odd shape that it hurt once she put socks on. She talked the entire time about how the water in her house has been shut off and how hard it is to be a single mom. She cut me while using a dremel tool on my toe nails and then proceeded to use her bare hand to wipe the blood away and painted my toe even though there was still fresh blood. To anyone who goes there, DO NOT use gel polish #19 because it has my blood mixed in. I'm pretty sure that this is not how a pedicure is supposed to be. $100 for sore and bloody toes?? This was my first and LAST experience with a pedicure. For a lady in business for over 16 years she sure ruined what was suppose to be a fun time for me and my daughter.

I went for dipped nails. I have never paid $67.00 to have my nails done. I had to wait about 30 to 40 minutes. I had several bumpy nails. The owner is cannot hire enough technicians. She and one other handle all of the business. I can get my nails dipped elsewhere for $37.00. I will not be returning.

I went in there three days ago to get my pedicure and the ge  polish just looked terrible Look like a child I did my toes and I ended up paying ov 50 bucks for it it is my second time going in there thinking I would have a better experience this time but I didn't.

They were very clean and polite. Wonderful gal did my boyfriend and I's pedicures close to closing and very friendly. Even with covid times they were very polite and followed guidelines to make it safe and relaxing. I'll be back for sure!!!

I went in to get a fill and had to wait which was not a big deal. There were some young gals getting nails done and the man was very unprofessional and was talking about going to party with them and even offered money for them to go buy beer. One of the ladies started working with me and another customer walked in and she told me that my nails needed to dry and proceeded  to help the other lady. There again I was waiting this time I'm getting upset then the other lady come over to finish. Two hours later. Was over charged and I will NOT TETURN. Also very dirty and unorganized. BEWARE
