I have been going to Kim for over 10 years I normally get a pedicure and manicure about once every 8-9 weeks. My nails always look great and Kim is very personable.
I was going to let this go but it just bugged me too much. I just wanted a polish change, brought my own polish. When I walked in a man was leaning in a chair on his phone. I told him what I needed he quoted $15. I sat down and it was then that I identified the smell. It wasn't a usual salon smell. As I watched him work I was certain that he had been drinking and his breath was what I was smelling. His work was sloppy and he caked it on so thick by my cuticles that when I got home I had to redo my polish. It made me sick to think I had to go back for him do it right so I didn't. I will not return.
I really wanted to like this place, Evan was very nice and gentle but after leaving I saw his work wasn't as great as I hoped. Evan didn't talk to me at all and even took a smoke break in the middle of doing my nails without washing his hands when coming back. I'm not kidding y'all. I even tipped very well however I'm saddened that my nails look so poorly the day after getting them done. I wish they would've done better. The ladies working seemed nice however prioritized their other clients over me and rushed during the process to serve the white ladies who came in. I paid a lot for these nails & I'm so disappointed. Please use this constructive criticism and do better... this business could be greater than the service you are currently giving. 1 star service overall sad to say. Good luck
I tried Snappy Nails when I first moved here 9 years ago and was not happy. My favorite nail guy at another place was fired, so I tried Snappy Nails again, so glad I did. Kim does a fantastic job and I love the pedicures her husband does- the absolute best I have ever had in 40 years.
Do not come here ! The first time I came here my nails did not last, but I decided to give it a second chance. I came back for shillac and was so disappointed. My nails have circles and bubbles, and four days later they're coming undone. I came back to show them and she said she could fix them but would have to charge me ! Ridiculous. Go up the street they do a better job.
