On the Avenue in Longmont, CO

On the Avenue is a hidden treasure!
My boss and coworker went for pedicures one afternoon and I even brought my own bottle of wine to enjoy!!!
My gal that attended me (her name is slipping my mind) was fantastic! I will be back someday when life settles just a bit.
Their office pup was the cuties EVER!
The salon was so warm and welcoming! Very clean and crisp!

I am so impressed with this salon. I was vacationing from NY the first time I visited it.  Now I make it a point to go there whenever I can. The staff is incredibly professional and accommodating. My stylist, Lacey, even called me from her home to help arrange an appointment.  She is an accomplished colorist. I have tough hair-it's thin and was pretty damaged. The color and style she gave me were exactly what was needed and I so appreciate her efforts and talent. Most recently, she applied micro bonds- which are extensions to make hair appear fuller. I've received tons of compliments and again, am so impressed with her abilities. If I could give this salon and Lacey a million stars I would.

I have black hair went in with a picture to show the stylist that I wanted a light brown with subtle highlights. After being there for 5 hours, I left with the same black hair and platinum blonde highlights. I looked like a 24 year old with gray hair. I went back and I again showed the picture to another person, I left with darker blonde streaks with black hair, again horrible. I went back to ask for my money back and they kept trying to sell me onto "fixing" it, and made it seem like the picture I gave them wasn't clear enough. no thanks you've done enough. The owner and her stylist told me to wash my hair with TIDE!!!!!! yes TIDE (laundry detergent). As if my hair didn't get damaged enough I need to use tide.. Save your money and go somewhere better, where they actually treat you nice, instead of waiting for an hour after your appointment while they take other people instead of you... HORRIBLE!!!!!

I went to this salon because I heard that they could cut long style men's hair. I was directed to a young lady by the name of Kyla Sloan. I proceeded to explain to her that I had been growing my hair out for almost a year. That I like my hair long and that I needed some of the "bulk" taken off, thinned out. I guess she thought that meant I wanted it cut short ! She cut all the length off in the back and left the hair around the ears long. It looks ridiculous. Please for your own sake DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN CUT YOUR HAIR ! I tried to get her to just give me a "barber shop cut" so I could present myself in public (yes it is that bad) but she had the day off and was booked up for the next few DAYS. Now I have to cancel my business appointments for the entire day so I can go to a barber shop to get myself looking at least acceptable. So my advice for men who like their hair a longer length, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR KYLA SLOAN at On the Avenue.

I'm very particular about my hair and I really need a stylist that can cut it to what I'm looking for. With that said I found my stylist here, Jenny to be specific and she's awesome. I drive all the way from Denver to get my haircut and my brows tamed here (I gotta wax then out they will take over my face!). I've been getting my haircuts here for a year now and I've never left with that feeling of, "Well, it's close to what I was going for...". I've always been pleased with my service here and I don't have to wait 3 weeks for an opening either which is really nice. They never try to push an up sell for salon products on me and I really appreciate her precision and efficiency. My time is usually limited because of my because of my busy schedule and though it's a drive for me it's worth it for me to get my hair exactly how I want it.
