Snappy Nails in Huntsville, AL

So I am giving them a 2 star because I am giving them a benefit of the doubt.

So I went on my birthday to get my toes done and I live right around the corner so I was like why not also I'm very new to Huntsville so very optimistic. I went in and there is a lady getting waxed right in front of me. Not in a room or anything just right there as soon as you walk in. Also the lady didn't get done from being waxed until 5 minutes of me waiting for my ride so about 30 minutes. There was a total of 4 customers including me and the other 2 were getting their feet done as well. So I'll give them a benefit of the doubt because there was only 2 of them working . So do what you gotta do you know. But I was very impatient and I had been waiting for like 35-40 minutes and I just couldn't do it any longer. So I left. But one day I don't mind giving them another chance when I have more time in my day.

Don't you love going to get your nails done?! Nail art, rhinestones, a relaxing hand massage, the best pedicures, relaxing chairs, great music. Airbrush design city style? Well ya won't get that here

Listen, it's a very basic nail shop. Primary clients are geriatric stage, much older. Many of them were using canes. I'm all the way HONEST. It's super quiet and here are the basics.

Very long wait times to get into a chair. It is true that they pay special attention to regular clients which needs to stop. With only one other person waiting for a pedicure, I waited over 48 minutes to get into a chair & nearly walked out.
*Cost-pretty fair I'd say. Of course adding anything will cost you an additional $3-$5
*The owner (female) is friendly. The male doesn't speak much, but he collects them dollarZ  quick!
*Cleanliness- they do keep the place clean & disinfect immediately after someone leaves. It's not dusty and they have a couple of TVS. The chairs are cheap massage chairs though-low quality & ineffective.
*Polish job was less than mediocre and the polishes are very old so they continue to load them with alcohol so they don't go on nice and thick. They're too watered down... it sucks. Not many colors to choose from either. Nail designs well people, my designs made my nails look like they belonged to two separate people

Overall, I'd only go back for a quick pedicure ONCE IN A RED MOON because I did get a great cuticle cleaning, nice cut down & shape, and that nasty dead skin scrubbed off. Plus you need time to wait a lot of time and most don't have it. THEY NEED TO HIRE MORE NAIL TECHS. Focus more on quality & cater to a larger crowd to include younger people as well. Oh and they have COVID shields in place of that matters to you.

Do not go here if you want pink and white. "they" don't do it.....I have no idea why but was told no they don't do pink and white. I think that is a basic nail job but they would not do it.

When I want to pamper myself, I go to Snappy Nails. My pedicure is always great and relaxing! I'll be back more often in the summer. #sandalready

Today was my first visit to Snappy Nails and i was extremely satisfied with my Pedicure. The female owner was very polite and meticulous and gentle with her work (she definitely took my foot injury into consideration). I am glad i tried them today and i am sure i will return.
