I had an appointment for today and the shop was closed. No one called and no sign on the door. I won't be back.
I have been going to the SmartStyle on 47th and 10th in Greeley for 2 years. I have got my hair cut from 2 different stylists. Both did awesome jobs. I have been getting my hair done for 36 years. In that time only 3 people have cut my hair to where I really like the style they have given me and how my hair has looked. 2 of the 3 people are these 2 from the Greeley SmartStyle. The prices are the best I have found and it allows me to give a bigger tip to the stylists who are the ones who deserve the money. I have not gotten a shampoo because I am always in a hurry but I want to see if the head massage that they say you will get with the shampoo is worth the money.I like the ability to just walk-in and get a service but I also sometimes need the ability to have a set appointment. I was told at first that you can't make an appointment but then I was told you can call the day of and make an appointment just for that day.
If I could give this place a negative star, that is exactly what I would do! I went to get my oil changed at Walmart and had a long wait. I decided to get my hair layered and my bangs trimmed.
The shampoo job was HORRIBLE. The little Chinese woman that washed my hair kept getting soap in my eyes.
The layering was SO uneven. The bottom layer in the back had as much as two inches in difference.
I asked her to trim my bangs and she told me they were too short.I told her that I didn't like my bangs in my eyes, so she huffed at me. She finally trimmed off about an eighth of an inch off. I told her it wasn't enough, and she argued with me. I was absolutely adamant and she turned around and grabbled her layering comb and layered my bangs without taking any more length off.
Then she told me that she wanted to put mousse in my hair. I told her that I don't like mousse in my hair (it dries it out and makes it feel like straw.) She argued with me on that one.
When I got home, I almost cried. I trimmed my own bangs and turned my hair upside down and fixed the layering and the lengths. (as much as an individual can fix her own hair.)
Go to this place if you want to shave your head. All others, seek a hair job elsewhere unless you want to get cheated.
