SmartStyle Hair Salon in Eugene, OR

I went to WM to shop and I was looking at the prices to do a root retouch. The stylist signaled me to come in and I noticed that it was $77 to get this done. Being on a budget and tired of paying a fortune for this service, I went for it.. The only problem was the stylist went ahead WITHOUT ASKING/INFORMING ME that to style my hair was another $25 and the cut was another $25. Not knowing that I was going to be charged for what she did without even mentioning I would be charged for her to blow dry my hair, I agreed to purchase an $18 leave-in conditioner that I really didn't need. But, I was shocked when she told me that my total was not $77-$100, but over $120.00! Then, the indicator for a tip popped up, I was so flustered by this excessive/unknown cost, that I gave her a big tip. I am sure she was just doing her job and hawking products and services, but be aware, they will do services without telling you and you will be feeling like you got fleecced and didn't save money at WM, nor does this make me live well. You got my money once SS/WM, but NEVER AGAIN. They will neglect to tell you the cost until it is done and finished and you are at the cash register

Made an appt the day before, I was told it was for the next day at 3 p.m.  Go in the next day and apparently it was at 11 am. The took my number  down when I made the appt and I got no call whatsoever about the change of time. Didn't get my hair done there and now never will with the attitude I got when I was there. Need a change of attitude for sure.

With the pandemic going on, my hair was looking pretty shabby. I even let my daughter have a go at it. She actually did a pretty good job, especially since she's not a trained hair stylist. So I was in WalMart and I went over to this Salon. I asked if anyone was available to cut my hair. The young lady I asked said "Sure, Nobie can do it as soon as she's finished with her client". So pretty soon, Nobie got me in the chair and gave me a wonderful, long overdue haircut. I've been back once since then, and again Nobie cut my hair. She does a great job so tomorrow I'm heading back for my third haircut! Both of these young ladies are extremely pleasant and are easy to talk to. And I'm very happy with the results I get at this salon. It's out of my way, but the place I used to go to just couldn't seem to get me in so I'll gladly got across Eugene to get a quality haircut!

Their service all 3 times were never pleasant.  The main girl with short hair always has attitude with you and is rude.  When you pay for a haircut that comes with a shampoo you need to let them know you want the shampoo or they will not offer it.  This place needs to be cleared of it's current people who will actually act professional and polite to smart styles customers!  I will never return to this location while I see the short haired girl is still there!

My husband and I took our boys here for a haircut this afternoon. My oldest usually does great for haircuts but my youngest hates them. Jared did an amazing job on my oldest and was so patient (my oldest is pretty ticklish on his neck). I can't remember the name of the woman who attempted a haircut on my youngest but she really tried her best but he just wasn't having any of it. We'll definitely be bringing our boys back for future haircuts.
