SmartStyle Hair Salon in Clarkston, WA

My hair turned out so awful that i left the place with a panic attack and an asthma attack, in which i had to buy a new inhaler because i wasnt prepared for how bad they screwed up. Originally, I was going to get a trim on my bangs because they'd overgrown. I told the hairstylist not to cut above my eyebrows but she did anyways after I asked her to cut a little more so my bangs werent on my eyelids. I am also a child and she decided to take advantage of that and try and offer more expensive haircuts just so she could screw up my hair more. I had to text my mom so i didnt leave the place looking like absolute garbage twice which she made me look like anyways. I could not help but crying on the chair just because i couldnt bear to look at myself in the mirror. What was supposed to be a trim on my bangs turned into a full haircut and shampoo and style because supposedly blowdrying costs more and she didnt want to say that before she put me in the shampoo bowl i didnt even want to use. I've been crying all day and hiding in my room just because of how ridiculous I look. I will never go to this salon again no matter if its a trim or a full haircut because of how awful it turned out and how much i was taken advantage of.

i went to get my roots touched up, Paid $142 and this is what ASHLEY let me walk out with. she told me it would maybe be one level darker and that it would blend. and then she said i would have to come back and pay another $142. and when i went in to complain they told me that they couldn't fix my hair for weeks. i could do better at home to be honest.

Made an appointment to have the highlights touched up in my daughters hair, appointment was at 5pm, sadly we got there at 5:10pm which was our fault we got stuck in traffic. Mind you myself and my girls have been to the salon for years, and have spent hundreds, and hundreds of dollars there. Normally takes 2 and half hours to complete my daughters hair, the salon was open till 9:30pm. Standing at the counter at 5:10pm We told the gal we were so sorry we are 10 mins late. Her response was she was sorry she wasn't going to be able to get us in because a color was just going to take too long. She was snotty and gave the impression that she just did not want to do it. The schedule book with appointment was right in front of her on the counter I could see there was nothing else scheduled, but yet she did not have time? Did some other shopping and walked by the salon, there was a young man in there working cutting someones hair, she was doing nothing, playing with a hair clip in her hand... very disappointed. Poor Customer Service, and she ovously did not want our business. Very disappointed with all the money we have spent at this salon and this is how they treat people. They need to talk to some of there new employees. But I have to say they have lost mine and my two daughters business. We will not be back...and I cannot recommend this salon. Which is sad, they have 3 people that work there that are very talented.

Customer service is awful they were very rude 10 minutes out the door I look like I've been hit by a weed wacker Worst haircut I've ever had in my life. Don't ever go here

I usually I'm pretty wary of getting a haircut at a walmart but I didn't have a lot of choices in this area. So I'm glad that I did go to this smart styles. My hairstylist was very nice and wanted to know about what I did and what brought me to the salon. Hopefully this review will get ms. Kayla more business to their place. For $10 haircut which I barely have a lot of it was well worth it!!
