My dog, Dash, is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. His grooming requirements can be challenging. I've brought him here several times, and every time he looks and feels fantastic when I pick him up. The groomers are friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly love their jobs. My sister's Viszla was boarded here (they have a dog day care!) while they were in meetings all day the last time they visited; they love it here too!
We recently had our 7 month old Berniedoodle groomed for the first time! They did a wonderful job! We loved his hair long, but they found wavy curlie hair underneath all the baby fluff, and gave him a great base cut and finally we could see his eyes!!! They have day care too, and today was Bernie's first time and they said he did really well, no incidents and is welcome back any time! We love the opportunity to socialize him with other dogs!
I bought my moms senior cat here to get groomed and they did a fantastic job. We had been taking him to another groomer that left him bloody the last time he was there (this was not due to any behavior problems, as they had marked on his card best cat ever!). Sitting Pretty dedicated two groomers to him and he looks so good. Thank you Sitting Pretty!
Our Sheepdog was taken in for a grooming and a haircut. When we picked him up, he was completely shaved and a mole on his face was bleeding. It was shocking and very upsetting. This was a Friday and we got into the vets on Monday. The mole was partially removed and bleeding stopped with powder and given a 10 day course of antibiotics. The vet said the groomer had " traumatized" the mole. We had been to this groomer before so they were aware of any moles. They have also done summer cuts before and they were appropriate. But this time, it was a shocking shave with all facial hair removed. In this case we feel a professional service should have called us, consulted with us and given us the option to shave his face.
I love Sitting Pretty. I have multiple dogs that are groomed here and I've never been disappointed.
