Home based salon but the ladies do a great job fast and worth the wait.I loved my braids now especially bc I needed services to make my grandmothers repass
I have been completely satisfied with services rendered. Staff is polite and welcoming they work quickly Their work is quality I will continue to return great experience
Honestly have nothing bad to day. They literally took me as a walk in at the last minute and braided my hair so fast. I got small knotless braids and I was done in 4 hours, maybe 5 tops. They looked amazing. Even though they braided tight, my hair did not fall out. My edges are in tact. My hair actually seems healthier and longer from the braids. (You have to make sure you oil your hair and moisturize it people helloooo just like with any other style and your hair will be fine). I will definitely be returning.
They kept saying, "You have a lot of hair!" Well, not anymore thanks to these ladies. First of all, the "salon" is actually in the basement of someone's house which immediately should have had me headed back home. But, this place had great reviews so, I didn't leave. The workspace was small, cramped and junky. I thought it was a real salon with professional hairstylists, so I didn't wash my hair since a wash was included. She had no idea what she was doing. She tangled my hair completely up during the washing process. Then, she blow dried my hair without sectioning it. She had someone come over to help her with blow drying, clearly overwhelmed with no idea what she was doing. "It's because you have so much hair!" she said, as they ripped my hair to shreds. 15 years in the business, but they don't know our hair should be treated like silk, not cement. I wanted a crochet style which meant cornrows and installing pre-twisted hair. During the braiding experience, they asked ME if it was too tight as if they can't tell if they are braiding too tightly. Well, it was MUCH too tight. On top of that they used all 7 packs of crochet twists and acted like they needed more actually finding 3-4 random strands of faux locs laying around to add to my hair. Way too much weight on my scalp! You have to install the twists 1-2 finger widths apart, not right on top of each other. Shouldn't they know that? Between the cornrows being too tight and too much hair installed causing too much weight on the cornrows, I lasted less than 72 hours before having to take them out. My scalp is blistered and sore even a day after taking them out. My hair is broken off and tangled beyond repair. I am going to have to big chop. They have signs posted that they are not responsible for what happens to your hair after you leave the salon, but they are absolutely responsible. They have a lot of good reviews, but don't be fooled if you value your hair at all. I am devastated and cried myself to sleep last night. You try to trust people with your hair and then this happens. Don't let it happen to you!
I'm usually very weary of home based salons but this one had good reviews so I gave it a try. I asked for box braids and they were done In 4 hours and were cheaper than I usually pay at the shop I've been going to since I was a kid. They were very professional and my braids were really neat. I plan to keep going back from now on.
There's no denying that balayage is having a moment. This modern hair coloring technique has taken the beauty world by storm, and it's easy to see why. Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint", and that's exactly what the colorist does.
