Simplicity Salon in Mariposa, CA

I set up an appointment and tried to call for over a month to confirm with them because I thought I got the wrong date, I always got voicemail. I didn't get a call the day before the appointment and ended up going the day after. I made a new appointment with them and canceled after talking with a friend about how they did shorter "male" styled haircuts.

I just love this Salon - everyone is so talented & friendly - it's spotless/clean - VERY reasonably priced... love the redesigns done since they expanded their business - really relaxing feel from the moment I walk in the door. I usually jump around from stylist to stylist since I'm making appointments last minute, too many names to mention... they have all been good, no matter who... when I leave, my hair looks fabulous, like I wanted. This recent visit... I'm so happy I saw Amanda for a dermaplane. She is FANTASTIC! So relaxing, such a special treat... but my skin, even almost 1 week later, still feels like I just walked out of the salon... her process/procedures are amazing and long lasting... really feel like she took years off of my face... I will be back. Since I have to be "covid conscious" due to some meds I'm taking, it was also a HUGE relief to see her already masked and ready for me when I walked in the door... I was a bit nervous about that, 1st facial since the pandemic and I had heard so many local aestheticians gave up the masks long ago. Friends that had gotten facials at other local businesses had shared when they asked about masked, some would rather you walk out and not do your appointment, or clearly be "huffy & puffy" and ruin the relaxing vibe... or wouldn't even set the appointment with you if that's what you required... just an "I don't wear masks... goodbye" I was so relieved that with Amanda, she greeted me wearing her mask at the entrance, I didn't even have to ask or stress... thank you, thank you! Terri is another hidden Gem... I've missed her massages so much during the pandemic and so has my back/body - for sure! I love the way she incorporates stretching with the massage and if you have a problem area she will find it and know how to tackle the issue. Only problem is... she's SO popular you really need to book in advance... to me that isn't a negative, that just confirms she is one of the best. Ok so Sara did my lashes. By far the worse place to get lashes done. Not only is she over priced for her work she does a really really shitty job! "She claims she only does classic sets not volume" she dictates that classic sets look fuller and dictates what she thinks looks best. No their called volume lashes for a reason. Sweet girl just sucks ass at lashes! Don't get your lashes done here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely LOVE THIS SALON!!! Lindsay is AWESOME super nice and does an amazing job at what she does!!! I'm naturally a dark Burnett and every time I see her which is monthly she NOT ONLY GETS IT THE BLONDE I LOVE... She knows her shit and I can blow dry and flat iron if needed no more pieces of my hair falling off day of or day after. She is excellent and the absolute BEST IN THIS TOWN OF MARIPOSA!!! You would never be disappointed with Lindsay. All the ladies in the salon are the "BEST"!!!

Lindsey Williams does an incredible job with cuts and color and you can't beat the prices. This quality work would have cost me hundreds of dollars in LA. Recommend to everyone!
