I just moved here 2 weeks ago, and found this place on Yelp. This honestly will be my new place to go! Not only do they take pride in what they do, they are the absolute nicest people I have been around in a long time. Jessica did my pedicure flawlessly and another older woman did my eyebrow wax. After not having my toes done in months due to COVID-19, I could have cried from happiness for how amazing service I received. The pricing was also extremely reasonable also.
Best ever! My niece Jess goes there all the time. I went with a friend and we had the best pedicures and the best manicures. I recommend them!
If I could give zero stars I would!! Not only did they not have the 5 colors I picked out for my nails, they rushed and did not cut my cuticles and skipped almost all the steps to a manicure. If that wasn't bad enough, I also got my eyebrows waxed and the woman completely removed half of my eyebrow and didn't even acknowledge it. Service was terrible and results were even worse. I'll never go again.
If I could give zero stars I would. Not only was the nail service horrible, but it would have looked better if I had done it myself. My friend and I made an appointment on a late Sunday afternoon and when we arrived there were no other costumers and 4 employees. They rushed us, into choosing colors and when I decided I'd prefer a different color they told me know. They hadn't even started painting!!!! Three different employees did my nails in the time and left me for other costumers. I always try to be understanding of business stressors and how employees may be affected but this service was outrageous. I do not recommend.
After having a rather bad experience at my old nail salon, I decided to give Silks a try. I made an appointment for a full set, waited 25 minutes to be taken. The lady was filing my nails with the electric file and not only burned my skin from the heat of the friction, but CUT my finger to the point of bleeding. I jumped and said, "Ow, stop," but she continued pulling my hand back to file. I kept asking her to stop, slow down, and be more gentle but she was so rough. Then made a comment to her coworker that she cut me. Never going there again and I'd advise you all not to either.
