We take our 1.5 year old here. They do a great job on his hair. They are quick and kind. They found out how he does best, and cut it that way. They see him early on Monday morning when no one else is there. It's great.
Last June (I know I'm super behind!) I was home in the NH/VT area for a dear friend's wedding. The entire bridal party went to Shear Designs the morning of the wedding to get our hair done. While we had heard a lot of great things about the salon and how great all the girls that work there are, I was blown away by the work that Kalea did for me.
The bride let us all decide what we wanted to do with our hair, and seriously this left me a little nervous! I'm pretty plain when it comes to my hair...it always looks the same and I don't put much effort into it on the regular. I told Kalea that I wanted to keep it down and curly, but I knew it would be a tough job because my hair is nearly pin-straight, thin and is tough to hold a curl. Kalea did an awesome job! Not only was my hair exactly what I envisioned for my friend's wedding, but it held the curl all night! I loved it, and I even liked it in the wedding pics that followed! (I wished that I got married in the same area and could have had her do my hair for my own wedding, as I loved it that much more than my OWN wedding hair!)
I have also had the pleasure of having Courtney cut and color my hair on more than one occasion. She is awesome! I love that the cut and color always comes out exactly how I want. I not only leave my visits with Courtney beyond satisfied with my hair, I also look forward to my trips back home to see her again!
