I have been coming here since it opened. I love treating myself to beautiful nails. The people who work here and very friendly and kind. I highly recommend Lucky Nails.
I have been going to this Salon for 9 months and the owner hates me for no reason and overcharges me even though I tip very well and am nothing but polite to her and her employees. One time pretty recently I got my acrylics redone and she rushed to do them because she overbooked herself and then they chipped a few days in and one broke but I was charged 70 dollars for the services alone and tipped her very well. She was angry when I came in to get nail repaired. Ever since I have been a regular there the owner has price gouged me and charged me way more than any other customer. I spent 80/85 dollars just to get ANC and fake tips removed and get new fake tips on with ANC even though I just got a simple shape and solid color. I am never going back here again... I do not understand how this business is still open!!!
First visit, the tech whipped out a dremel tool to remove my cuticles instead of soaking and doing the usual way. I didn't notice until the polish was finished, there were ridges where she nicked into my nail bed on every finger. Several weeks have passed and my nails look sickly. The polish application was sloppy and gloppy and the cuticles were not cleanly removed.
I recently moved with Vermont and decided to treat myself to a full set. I should have really read the reviews prior to going. I don't typically write bad reviews but I have never experienced such a horrid nail job. I simply asked for a full set of gel nails, square, matte black. First complaint, I got round nails...actually more of a 'pointy' shape. Next the tech I had was clearly rushing, I've never had a full set take any less than 45, and this was done in maybe 20 minutes. The nails are thicker on one side compared to the other (like a big difference). Next...there is absolutely ZERO apex...it literally looks like the nails are lifting off my fingers. 10/10 do not recommend it, most certainly was not worth the $65
