The kids love it, so I guess that's all that matters... left feeling rushed, rude service, and pushed out the door with a less than mediocre hair cut. No thanks!
I brought my 9 year old son to get a fresh/ different cut here. I was expecting a different experience than maybe Wonder cuts.
The only real differences were the video games & higher price. The quality of the cut was about the same.
I was expecting more guidance on cuts & styles, but the stylist didn't offer any advice or guidance. I received more advice at Wonder Cuts.
So be prepared to come with your own ideas, not expecting to get any advice from the staff. They do not have an album of cuts & styles.
They did offer for us to come back free of charge if we would like anything adjusted, so that was appreciated.
I would only recommend Sharkey's for children that are being introduced to the hair cutting experience or if your child is scared of getting their haircut, as it offers more child friendly decor & screen-time options (TVs & video games).
Also, prepare your kiddo that they will not be able to complete a game. My son spent most of his gaming time trying to figure out the controls... we don't have an Xbox, so he was a bit disappointed with that.
Took both kids to Sharkey's for haircuts/trims. My daughter (9) loved having her hair washed and the XBox chair while getting her trim. My 2 year old boy is usually a nightmare for trims-- but Amanda H was super patient with him and we got a full haircut with no tears!
I have not had both my son and daughter as patron there. 3 & 4 years old. They are so amazing, patient and kind. My kids had a blast! I am so excited to have them around. Mrs. Liz is phenomenal. All the women there are really pleasant and professional.
Took my daughter,5 years old, here after been recommended by another mommy. It was the best experience i could've asked for! My daughter was smiling the whole time. Ms. Amanda did a wonderful job with her and really took the time to talk to her. We can't wait to return!
