Sharkey's Cuts For Kids - Alamo Ranch in San Antonio, TX

Showed up at 1:45PM, they close at 5PM. They said they had to wait for the 2PM appointment and could not take us after as it takes several hours to close??? Sounds like a lie. Pure laziness. Guess they don't want business. Very unprofessional.

Brought my kids here in the past and now having a one year old that needs his first haircut, I don't think I can bring him here OMG ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!! Honestly everyone saved me cause I will not put up with the negativity energy of stylist and the reception lady at the front desk and the being told to wait 30-40 minutes for a walk in only to have to wait 1- 1:30 hours???? I have never seen this place busy and now I can see why.

worse service, we came in as a walk in waited almost for an hour. i asked when are we being seen and they told me after their scheduled appointments come in. i asked when i got there if their was a waiting time and they said no i wasted my time just sitting there and no one said anything to us and not to mention there was a lot of workers so i don't understand why no couldn't do my son's hair

We love Sharkeys! The ladies here are always great and do an amazing job. The prices are high but worth it for the experience and quality of the cut. Kiddos can play video games or watch a show while getting a cut as well as leave with a lollipop and balloon. There are a lot of cute and fun toys and Knick knacks available to look at while your kiddo gets a cut. They offer glitter and hairstyles for girls too. Mom and son or dad and daughter cuts are also available. Thank you sharkeys!!

I had an amazing experience here. My almost 3 year old doesn't handle anything to do with his hair very well. So of course as a first time mom i was extremely nervous. I called a day in advance and booked an appointment i asked if they work with all hair types and how they accommodate children that are on the spectrum. The lady answered all my questions and booked my appointment. We came in today and it wasn't too busy so my son got to pick the car he'd like to sit in. Julia turned on a show on Netflix and started cutting his hair with scissors. She asked me how short or long I'd like his hair and she kept cutting to my liking. I picked a simple cut because i wanted to see how my son would handle the process. He was actually so calm he even let her use the clippers to lightly edge up his hair! These ladies have magic patience and love what they do. I will continue to recommend them to my friends and definitely will be back in a few weeks ‍
