I've been going to this salon about once a month for the past 2 years to have my eyebrows waxed. I am always a walk in and I usually end up getting Karen as my stylist. She does a great job on my brows, but never remembers me and always asks if I have been there before. Not that big of deal, but after 2 years, you would think I would at least look familiar to her! Throughout my appointments she always tries to convince me to have my hair done there. She makes me feel like I'm defending myself when I say no. I actually did have my haircut by her once and the cut was just ok, not amazing like I receive from the stylist I go to. I've decided not to go here anymore because she makes me uncomfortable.

Went there for a simple hair cut. Told the lady a few times that I did not want my hair to short. Not only did she not listen, she butchered my hair. Now to fix it I have to cut it even shorter. Oh and the whole time I sat in the chair she made comments on how bad my hair was.

If you go in here, make sure you only go to Rene! I have been getting my hair done by Rene for a while now. She's been doing something called olaplex treatments on me and my hair hasn't ever felt better! I never thought that was possible after putting dye on my hair, to then come out and have it feel better than before. I've had so many stylists ruin my hair and no one has ever took the time to reach me how to care for my long hair. I sent my friend in there to get the olaplex treatment and someone else did one and she said that the lady instead gave here a cheap hair mask and charged her $20! Make sure if your getting that treatment to see the bottle and be educated and know what your getting! I love Rene so much! She has made me feel beautiful again and she is so relatable and makes you feel so comfortable while sitting in her chair

If I could give less then 1 star I would! The worst experience ever!!! I am livid!!! My husband took my 13 year old son there for a hair cut and my son told her that he wanted 1 inch off the top. So when she started to use clippers for the top he told her no, she cant use those for the top and she did anyway!!!! He called me, in tears, hiding in his Dad's car and is miserable and now has a BUZZ cut!! He doesn't even want to go to school Monday! His word were "how am I going to go to school Monday?!" Do I have to go? If you have a license to cut hair you should know what an inch off the top is and that you cant use the clippers!!! If someone says stop, you stop!! If you see a child who's face says your doing something horrible, you stop and try to make it right! Then when I called to discuss this she lied about who was working there and didn't want to give me her name and lied about what he told her and lied about the conversation they had and then insulted me! DO NOT EVER GO TO RENE ELICE to get your hair cut!! I checked and she does not have a valid Cosmetology License!!

So, my step-sons mom took him to get a haircut here today because I was un able to cut it for him over the weekend. The woman who cut our sons hair was unbelievably rude. She was a mature, Caucasian woman, grayish white hair, average height, a little heavy set...I believe they call her Mrs. Rene. This woman was upset because my step sons mother didn't know what Clipper number the barber uses when getting his fade at their usual shop...this made the woman angry. Mrs. Rene started to dig the clippers into his scalp so aggressively that one of the other stylists suggested switching clients with her because she seemed un-easy about doing his fade. "Mrs. Rene" told her co worker she would finish the cut but that it was my step son and his moms fault that she wouldn't be able to do it right because they were unsure of how to describe what length cut they were looking for?! First off, as a barber.....or hairstylist... you should always treat your clients with the upmost respect. Second, You take the time to communicate with your client by asking them the RIGHT questions. There are lots of other ways to communicate length to a client that have nothing to do with clipper numbers...and professional terminology. It is NOT the clients responsibility to know barbershop and salon terminology. That's your job. Some examples of good communication with the client are..... "do you want to be able to grab or pinch the length of your hair" "what is your daily routine when styling your hair" "are you able to see your scalp through your hair after your usual haircut?" Or just simply start with your longest blade on one side of the head and work your way down in numbers (in the same spot) progressively getting shorter In length until your client sees the desired length of hair and then go from there. Do not ever!!! And I repeat EVER become physically aggressive with your client especially when that client is only 13 years old and you are working with scissors, blades, etc. Finally, after she finished....the cut was an absolute disgrace....and she had the nerve bad about my step sons mom right while he was the only one who could hear her?! After producing what has to be one of the worst fades I have ever seen? Unacceptable!!!! I am outraged and I hope this woman is reprimanded for her poor and unprofessional behavior behind the chair. Oh....and here are some pictures of her terrible work. Do not go here and get your hair done by this woman. She is a bad hairstylist and a terrible person. Shame on her! And shame on this salon for hiring someone as unprofessional, aggressive, and talentless as this woman.
