Saul Arrambide Salon 201 in Fresno, CA

Well I'm not sure where to start. I've always trusted Saul 100% forever. Color/blonde always been superb!! Cuts amazing!!!!! That's why I gave a 1 star although every part of me would like to give a 0 after today. He was going to highlight my hair. Nightmare. I honestly don't know what to say. I get that sometimes the processing isn't always what we shoot for it to be. What I don't get is when it turns into a nightmare and Saul doesn't offer to fix. I honestly am still in disbelief. Today my hair was completely ruined HUMILIATING. I had bleeding from the bleach throughout my whole head. The bleached hair was nightmare with leopard spots. Multiple highlights were full of bands as you can see in the picture. A simple apology and a hey let's schedule to fix would have been the professional thing to do. I would have respected that. If I'm going to pay $400 and tip like I ALWAYS do well at least I should look decent if we can't get to the goal immediately. I even buy the marked up products just to support his business. (When I have access to his prices) Unfortunately I had no choice but to walk out and not pay and I feel like shit and for sure I'm going to lose sleep. This just isn't who I am. But if I paid for that job I would lose more sleep. Every part of me wanted to go back and at least pay for the cut because I love it! But I just couldn't get myself to, I mean he never even called to acknowledge the OOPS!! Who does that??? I get some people don't want to admit error or when a job looks bad. But I know one thing for sure his wife would not have got out of that chair till it was fixed. Nor would she have ever paid someone for what was done to me today. Who in their right mind would. I ended up with blue, yellow, brass, and I don't know what else is going on. I'm so disappointed and shocked that someone so great at what he does would even allow his name to be on this mess. I am speaking up Today for all those women that don't have the boldness to speak up. I know I am not the first screw up. In the last two years there's been quite a buzz about the work. I believe myself as well as others that have admired his work for so long are in denial of the decline in his magic touch. Or maybe it's still there and we aren't worthy of the work that he puts into his money bag clients. Thank you to his very kind staff who did their best to "patch me up" while I cried my eyes out. Be super picky with your hair folks one day you won't have it anymore! Stay humble. .

Love going to Saul! My sister and I have been going to Saul for our hair for over 10 years now : ) I was so relieved to have gotten to get one last haircut in with him before everything got shutdown pandemic wise! I can't speak for other hair types, but he has a real way with long & thick hair that I love & I love the new Salon setup too. Thanks Saul, see you for my next haircut!

Saul and staff are amazing. They will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. I will not go to anyone else! Highly recommended to all!

Saul is amazing and very talented. I absolutely love going in on a Saturday morning to have my hair styled by sauls assistants. After working all week I get tired of doing my hair every day.

I've been going to Saul for about 10 years on and off from having moved to areas outside of Fresno. I've never found a better stylist, not even in places such as Los Angeles and San Francisco. He always exceeds my expectations! I definitely recommend him! You will not be disappointed!
