This salon is classy & top notch! They respond quickly & always squeeze me in when I need a quick trim. Jocelyn does an amazing job cutting hair & is always very sweet. I HIGHLY recommend this salon as I've been coming here for years!

I made my appointment online, and was reminded via email about my appt. Excellent customer service! The front staff were friendly and attentive. It was very easy to check in and was immediately offered the Aveda Tea blend, a heated neck pad and brought into the nail salon area. I got the Stress Fix Pedicure which was great. My nail technician Deana was friendly and answered my questions about foot care. On another day, I saw that Aveda was having a 20% off sale so I inquired about this and if they honored the sale. For some reason, the salon was not mentioned on the Aveda website as a local retailer. So I shopped for my hair and beauty product there. I saved some money and I supported local. Hailey was very helpful in explaining the sale and the Aveda Plus membership that I was interested in. Parking: Plenty of parking in the large shared lot in front of Jamba Juice. The Salon is sort of tucked away from the parking lot but there are signs that clearly show you the way.

This review was made by my sister. As a family we've been going here for years and seeing how disappointed and emotional she was after being treated this way broke my heart so I had to share her experience. They lost 3 customers and we will not be going back in the future. "I had an infuriating experience at the hair salon. I scheduled a three-hour appointment at 2:45. When I arrived, the stylist assigned to me was named Stephanie, and she mistakenly thought I had booked a root touch-up instead of the full-color change I had actually booked. After explaining my choice, Stephanie told me that a full-color change would take approximately three hours, but she argued it couldn't be accommodated within my 2:45 appointment slot, despite the salon closing at 6. The entire salon staff was also extremely unhelpful, and their attitude insinuated that I was the one who had made the mistake, even though I had correctly scheduled a three-hour appointment. This experience left me seething with frustration and deeply dissatisfied with their service."

Firstly let me say as a small business owner myself I hate doing this. I much prefer showing love than complaining so this hurts my heart to do this. I tried calling several times but there was no way for me to speak to a staff member or a manger to inform them of what had just occurred. I was referred to Shayra by a client who also has curly hair like I do. I have fine thin curly hair, but a lot of it and I have had a heck of a time finding someone who knows curly hair since I moved back to town. I was excited for the prospect of someone close to home that knew how to cut curly hair. I had scheduled a bang trim for 3:45 today (6/1). I was very excited I wouldn't have my bangs falling in my face tomorrow! I am also a brand new client so I thought this would be a great opportunity to meet and have her get a feel for my hair. Since I am also in the beauty world I thought I would be polite and I arrived ten minutes early for my appointment so I would be prepared for her and make a good impression. I have to say that the space was very clean and the staff that checked me in was incredibly kind and lovely. They offered me a beverage and took me to the client waiting area. They also kept periodically checking on me and everyone that walked by was courteous and smiled. Here comes the not fun parts... I waited 30 minutes and counting for a bang trim. Actually I never received the bang trim because this was my self care treat for the week and I thought I was going to burst into tears so I decided to give up on being seen. I have had a very hard two weeks we lost a family member last week and my friends and family had urged me to do something nice for myself and this was going to be it, or so I thought. About 5 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin Shayra came out and said she was running behind and she could ask if someone else could see me or it would be 15 more minutes. Since I had wanted to have my appointment with her, shes the one I booked with I told her I would wait. After 20 minutes from that point of waiting, I was seated near her and I could hear her and her client casually chatting away and no end for me in sight. Please don't get me wrong I want every customer to receive wonderful service but there was zero hustle in regards to me or thought to this being my first time visit. I have worked in salons before and she knew she was running behind before I even arrived. I could have been greeted, or even better called and told that I was not going to be seen at the time I was scheduled. I walked over to the front desk at 4:15 ( so I sat waiting with my early arrival for 40 mins for a 15 min appointment) and waited my turn and then told them I was going to be leaving. I asked for my deposit to be returned to me and they made the squish face of I'm sorry this is happening to you and politely agreed to do so. I cried on the drive home, and now I'm back to the drawing board in finding a curly hair cut. I was SO excited to try this place since I live right next to Fig Garden and my own beauty business is down the street. I am just so broken hearted this is how this went. I had a date with my husband tonight and I was excited to have freshly cut bangs and having a little self care. I write this tale so that hopefully this kind of new customer experience doesn't happen to someone else.

I have been going to this salon for nearly 3 years, and happened to be late because of unexpected traffic. i called to let them know I was going to be late and they had to cancel and then charge me for not showing up. I realize that the scheduling is tight, but charging due to an unexpected accident was terrible customer service. I am now looking for another salon with better customer service, especially for returning clients.
