It's my first time here and I'm glad they take "Walk-ins". Mr Chahn did a great job with my pedicure (Christmas green nail polish) and manicure. I would definitely come back and tell my friends.
I visited for the first time today. It was a very relaxing experience. I needed a pedicure and gel manicure. Chi was very detailed and gentle. She did an incredible job on both my hands and feet. I feel my total cost was what I usually paid when living in San Diego. They earned my business! Thank you!!
Staff was very nice and accommodating. I really liked the selection of colors and loved the way my nails looked. Was visiting the Charleston area from the west coast, but felt like prices were a little higher (might be standard for the area). A standard gel manicure is $40 and pedicure was also $40. Overall, had a good experience.
New owners so I was frustrated by a few changes. The prices were very expensive... $80 for a mani and pedi (before tip) and they didn't honor my $5 off coupon for "checking in" on Yelp. I liked the service and my nails look good but it was very expensive.
I went to this salon for over the years and Kim the owner did my nails wonderfully. The last several times (3-4) Kim has not been there so several others have done my nails. Over time the service has gone steadily down hill. The technicians are extremely hard to understand, the spend the majority of time while doing your service on the phone, they complain about other customers, they criticize how your nails were done previously (even though they were the ones who did the service) and about 85% - 90% of the time they speak to each other in their native language which I find rude and unprofessional. Of course I under stand occasionally that it maybe required but it should be the exception not the standard. The pricing never seems to make sense from one time to the next. Hard to pay cash (to avoid the extra service charge for using your debit card) if the price changes each time. Ever since Kim has left the cost fluctuates between $40-$57 for the same service. Time to look for a new place. I would suggest going back to the way the place was a few years ago.
