Beauty Nails in Summerville, SC

The rating would have been less if Tamara hadn't finished my nails. The gentleman that started seemed nice and polite in the beginning but didn't talk (ok that's fine), I'm on the shorter side 5' even. So when he's pulling my hand (not once, but 3 times) to get it closer versus saying something that was going to prevent me from coming back again; my pinkie finger was cut a few times. As well as I would have left with my nail glued to my skin. Again, not the end of the world. I thought I picked out a simple pink and white with 2 small stones, but I guess that wasn't. I had asked prior to beginning if it was doable, if not I would have gotten a simple color. He pushed me off on Tamara (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) and she finished my nails, even reshaped them into coffin as I had requested. The only reason I'll be returning is to see her.

They are great. She made my feet look brand new. I didn't have any toenails but somehow she made my toes look like I do. New owner is amazing

I worked here part time and later I requested to have my tax2022 tax return. The boss is a couple, I talked nicely to them and everything seemed fine, they were nice until they filed my name on the tax wrong with the address. I meant it is fine as long as my SSN is correct but my name was written inversely, my address is wrong because I got my license in Florida and I'm no longer live there, my family also bought a house, so I asked if they can correct my information. I asked and waited for a week, then I texted the wife if they have done it so or not, they said they were busy, and the next day they requested for my ID with the same new address I want to file in the taxes, if not he's not going to do so. My family just bought a house, and I'm moving around a lot. Nobody would ask the ID with same address in tax file, and I think the husband took his wife phone and texted me back, because his texts were so rude, he refused to correct my information and brought  up my dad. I had no idea what i did wrong. The only thing I knew is that my dad was going here to work to replace my position after I leave the shop for college, but the first day of work, the husband brought a gun to the nails shop, and I don't know what happened, but my dad was scared why a person go to work and bring the gun, so my dad decided not to work here. The boss ended up threatened me and told me to go ahead and report this business. They refused to correct my information. This is an employee harassment. I am a student, and I helped them when they needed workers, now they turned out to be bad person. I had all the evidences of texts that he sent me, for sure, this is not a safe business since the boss brought gun to the shop and harassed workers. Who knows what he's going to do if you piss him off.

This place is awful. You walk in and they don't acknowledge anyone. I simply went in for an eyebrow wax. She was yanking my head like she was angry. When she was done she just walked away, no mirror, she said nothing. I realized she was done bc she started walking towards the front and just stood there looking at me like 'come on I'm wasting her time' ...maybe she was having a rough morning but don't take it out on customers bc I have nothing to do with whatever was wrong with her or maybe she always acts like that.. who knows. The weirdest thing is she started speaking to me & smiling when my wallet nearly slid out where I had a good bit of cash inside and she saw it. And FYI I ALWAYS tip for everything but this is the first time in my life I did not give a tip. I should also note that when I initially sat down during the wax I spoke to her saying hello and what not and she completely ignored me. I barely wanted to pay her for the service but that would've been complete wrong to do. Let's be clear, I used to go here many years ago when it was really nice... several of my relatives would go here as well. My mom was a regular and went every week referred many people from her job etc bc her nails and toes were always so nicely done. She came so often they'd give her like free color or design or something sometimes. They knew her and they were very friendly to everyone. That is also when it was under the OLD management years ago NOT these folks!  When this new management came in we stopped coming even my mom who was a regular bc of the customer service and how her nails would look. Before this new management everyone was very friendly, the nails and toes looked great and the lady who did our eyebrows was named Candy. I remember she left to go to Vietnam at the time. The only way I'd step foot in that place is if Candy is there but when I went I had a very rude woman which I think may have been the owner. I think I remember her face as the new owner from years ago. I'm not an argumentative person but that situation I swear needed more than I gave. But I simply went there bc I was in town and needed an eyebrow wax. I'll never return here and I've also assured no one I know goes there as well if they expect to be treated nicely and have quality work done without being rushed through, ignored, and head plowed into the chair.

I don't know about the nails but im rating for an eyebrow wax. This place is cheap-ten bucks, quick in and out, they really clean them up for you (wax, cut, and pluck). I'll be back!
