Salty Waves Salon in Rockland, ME

I had an excellent experience here. My hair stylist, Madison, has an excellent sense for color and understands how to cut curly hair.  The nail specialist, Riley, was excellent too. She was gentle but very adept.  I highly recommend this salon.

Hands down the best salon I have ever been to. The stylists are caring and do an amazing job! I have gone here for a few years and am never disappointed.

Even though she was given very short notice, Rebecca did a wonderful job of cutting my hair:  Trimming the back and keeping the front pretty much untouched, as I instructed. It was a wonderful shampoo, haircut and blow dry; felt good, looks good, terrific price! Thanks Rebecca!

EXCELLENT!  What a wonderful salon.  Although it's not downtown, it's beautiful, big and clean and so relaxing.  Have had my hair done 3 times so far and each time it looked fantastic.  Tonya, the owner, is so knowledgeable about healthy products, she is responsible for turning me onto Bumble & Bumble shampoo and conditioner which changed my hair completely.  It is always silky soft and shiny now.  She know just what colour I'm trying to ask for!  Also had my hair done by the lovely young gal.... Sydney?  She did a great job making my hair blonder, knows her stuff.  It's so worth the short trip out of town to go here.  Especially the prices!  Nice to know you can get as good a job as in Manhattan here in wee Rockland.

Have I NOT done a review here yet? Where are my manners! Tonya, Tonya, Tonya what can I say. Hair wiz, one with the hair, the force is strong in this one...I guess one could say I'm a Tonya stalker. But I KNOW I am not alone she has many stalkers who will follow her anywhere. So now that she has opened her own place we are all grateful.

Now I'm partial to Tonya and I bite my nails, but if I didn't I would certainly see Emma there. She is a delightful person. One of those you meet that are bubbling with energy and wonderment at how good everyday life can be.  That alone would put anyone in front of her nail table!

I don't know the others, but I'm certain they hold their own or Tonya would not have them there. Make no mistake these folks are serious business about their craft and running a successful business. They recognize treating the customer like a best friend and doing top quality at appropriate pricing will bring us all back happily!
