Salon Vie Rebelle in Chicago, IL

I took my shy 7 year old here for a hair cut. We've been to a couple of other salons in the Chicago area and this one is hands down the best. Despite doing Saturday appointments there is no feeling of being rushed, which I huge when you have a nervous kid. Marissa cut my little one's hair and she was amazing at making my girl feel comfortable and excited. My daughter is still talking about how much she loves her hair cut and how she can't wait to go back to Marissa. The service all around was fantastic and everyone worked together to make sure that my daughter and I were well taken care of.

Visited for the first time and Marissa was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I wanted and gave me one of the best haircuts. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great haircut, color, etc and an awesome vibe. I wish I could give this salon more than 5 stars.

After a few visits to get eyelash extensions at Salon Vie Rebelle, I will not be returning. I was scheduled for an appointment at 12:15pm & received a call at 7:45am that they were cancelling just mere hours before my appointment. The last appointment I had with Sabrina she arrived 30 minutes late. Sabrina does a fine job, but is unreliable; I won't use Salon Vie Rebelle in the future since appointments are subject to cancel at any time apparently. For context, the idea was to have my eyelash extensions for an event this upcoming week, so rescheduling until after would make no sense. What bothers me the most is Salon Vie Rebelle's cancellation policy for clients is as follows: "Please be notified that any cancellations made up 24 hours before the time of appointment via email, phone call etc, will be applied without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a fee of 50% of total amount of service. We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee." So, we as clients get financially punished if we cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours advance, but providers can cancel a few hours in advance or show up unreasonably late without issue? It'd be nice for a salon to follow the same rules they set for their clients. I understand things happen, but to cancel an appointment that's been set for weeks and then attempt to schedule an appointment a week later is bad business etiquette.

Marissa and Evelyn saved my hair after I came in desperate from a botched job the day before. I will never go to another salon again. I am shocked I didn't hear about them sooner!

I can't say enough great things about Salon Vie Rebelle! My friend referred me to them and my experience has been life changing. Marissa and Farrah are the "Dream team" with extensions and color. My extensions look natural and amazing plus my hair is growing like crazy! Sabrina is amazing with brows and lashes. The team at Salon Vie Rebelle aren't just talented and make you feel beautiful on the outside, they also truly care about their clients!
