extremely disappointed. i asked for a balayage and this is what they gave me. my roots turned orange. highly highly don't recommend going here.

Well it's pandemic, but the staff were not equipped with any safety and hygiene gear.... They don't wash their hands after each client but just apply sanitizer (which is not enough for cleanness!) They don't clean or wash the styling tools at all or sweep the remaining hairs on the floor. The staff were hard to communicate - they have limited English proficiency which is critical since they will not understand what you are asking and do wrong. They are also very rude and unhelpful. Please beware!

I went to get a haircut... specifically asked the lady to only please cut 2 inches off my hair. She cut about 6-8 inches off my hair... then she tells me "All the dryness is gone." I just don't understand why some hairdressers think they can do whatever and not listen to the customer. ALSO, I asked for layers and that's not what I got. Look at how uneven it is! I'm so so so disappointed.

I'm not a person who usually complains, but If I could I would give them a ZERO star! Me and my friend were wanting to get our hair dyed and thought this place would be good since it had some pretty good reviews online. We went in, showed them the picture of what we wanted done to our hair and ask them a if they could do it EXACTLY like that and the lady there ASSURED us that they could! We TRUSTED her on her answer and she sat us down. That lady started doing my friends hair and an older guy did mine. It took almost 3 hours and the guy that did my hair I felt like he lack experience bc he didn't even seem like he knows what he was doing first off. He sat me under the hair drier for some pretty long time and i could feel my head was starting to hurt and burn! Was already not please at this point. After he was done the color LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE I SHOWED THEM! It turned out ORANGE! IN FACT my scalp was SORE!! He only damage my hair even more! My friend's hair didn't even turn out well either! Her were uneven color. DON'T EVER GO HERE TO DO YOUR HAIR!! P.s Don't tell a customer that you can do something but really CANT! My scalp is still sore and if this continues and I need to go to my doctor for it I'm SUEING!!

I would highly recommend Queen Beauty Salon. I came here for the first time to get a root touch up and highlights (blonde highlights with a light brown base). Vu, my stylists exceeded my expectations especially as female with naturally dark, curly hair. He not only knows how to cater to your specific hair type but he is also very patient and takes his time to ensure perfection. Before I go back home to Boston in about 4 weeks, I plan on making one more visit to see Vu for a touch up. I'd honestly take him with me if I could!
