My daughter has been going here for years so I decided that for my birthday I would go. Let me tell you, it was a mistake. Now my daughter only gets her hair thinned out and a trim so maybe I should have thought about that.
I brought a picture of myself with a hair style I had years ago and wanted it cut the same way. It wasn't a picture out of a magazine, it was of ME!! But I didn't get that style. As many times as I said I wanted that style (about 8 times), I didn't get it. I kept saying its a pixie cut just a little longer and I got a short bob. After I left I was still not happy but I tried to work with what I was given. Now I can't do anything with my hair. It looks terrible everyday.
I called to ask if anything could be done and all they told me was I could come back and see the same girl and I would still have to pay 1/2 of what I paid the first time. First of all, why would I want to go back to the same person who wouldn't do what I asked and secondly I already paid $50.00 for a service that I didn't get. They have lost me and my daughter as clients and whomever else I can tell about the service I got at SALON PRISM!!!! Also while I was there they got a woman's hair stuck in a dryer! There is a lot of competition in the hair salon world so I hope this makes someone turn and look for someone else to get their hair cut!
Love visiting Salon Prism! Rachel is the best and always gives me EXACTLY what I ask for. She talks me through the process and even asks about my budget (not a lot of salons do that!). Everyone is always so polite and friendly here. I will definitely be back!
Had an appointment scheduled for a week. Show up early and made to wait until exactly appt. Time. Ok..no problem..then when I begin explaining what I want done..the stylist apologizes and states..oh..I can't do your hair because they have you down for a haircut only!!and I already have someone coming in for highlights.. no one else would take me either! So much for outstanding service!
I went today for the first time and was pretty impressed. The environment is pleasant and the people are friendly. The headrest on the chairs that they use to shampoo your hair aren't very comfortable but my hair stylist did a great job so I'm not stressing.
