Salon Picasso Hair Studio in Lafayette, CO

I had a wonderful cut from Holly.  First time going to Salon Picasso. I love the cut, and really enjoyed the experience and meeting Holly.  She is a beautiful, warm person.  She also cut my boys'  hair, and they look great.  Cuts were affordable, well-done, exactly what I wanted.  Thank you!

I'm disappointed with the nail services at this salon offered by the nail tech Nancy. I booked my appointment a week ago, and came here because of the good review and hoping to find a nail tech who is willing to take time and give me a pampering luxury, high quality nail service the lady I booked with over the phone was really nice and assured me that Nancy was high quality and professional. When I got to my appointment I was brought back to Nancy who was frowning and seemed grumpy she was already working on someone else. She told me to pick a color  when I looked at her very small selection of colors I noticed there were no light pinks or nude colors so I asked her if she had any colors like that? She went into the back and left me standing there for 15 minutes! I had to ask a stylist where she went or if there was a place I could sit and wait? Then Nancy comes back out and says she's uncomfortable doing my nails and that she's not going to do them. She was very upset that I asked for a different color than what was on her color swatch. What a total and complete waste of time! She's just like all the other big nail salons around town with a negative attitude and poor English and quality of nail care. Her polish seemed old and cracking in the bottle and her station wasn't too clean. In the end Nancy did me a favor by not doing my nails she probably doesn't do a very good job judging by her poor communication and lack of colors to choose from. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the stylist really tried to help out and even offered me a complimentary hair service to make up for Nancy, I refused because it's not the stylists fault.

I've been meaning to cut my hair short. I've been here once before to  trim my hair! This time I had Joell cut my hair. All I did was show her a picture and she brought that picture to life for me! She was so sweet and so kind. A bonus was that she loves pho as much as I do! It was a pleasure having her cut my hair, I love it and everyone else loves it too. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Joell did my haircut and highlights in Aug 2018. Six months later, I am still loving it! I have very dark hair and wanted to lighten it up a bit. I gave her some freedom in planning my highlights even though I had not worked with her before and she did not disappoint. She was also incredibly friendly and we did a lot of talking while I was in her chair.

My mother and I have both seen Holly a few times over the last few years and we adore her. She's very patient and talented. I don't think I've ever encountered anyone here that hasn't been nice. We've moved out of the area but recommend them for anyone looking for a hairstylist!
