Salon Park - Katy in Katy, TX

The manager there, Ally I believe is her name, she is wonderful & welcoming everytime I see her. I go to Mandie at the Rustic Magnolia inside, and have nothing but praise for her for more than just her talent. Her ability to make you feel heard while your in her chair is pretty amazing too. Recently moved over an hour away and it's definitely worth it for me to drive over and is a regular thing now.

Janey Garcia was recommended to me by a client of mine. Her curly hair is always on point and my daughter has the same hair but I can never get to look great because of her trims. Janey knew what to do with it and my daughters hair is on the road to recovery and won't be long before it starts to look amazing. Since she did well with my daughter I decided to give her a shot with my damaged hair(from bleaching and not trimming it often)and I'm not lying, it feels so amazing to the touch. She did a short layered cut and took off all the damaged ends. She knew exactly what to do, her talent is amazing. Highly recommend her!

If I could rate this salon in the negatives, I would. I have been a regular client getting services for a little over a year now. I bring my son every single time. There has never been an issue with his presence, he's quiet and my stylist loves him. Unfortunately, I don't have the pleasures of keeping him at home and my stylist was reprimanded for it this one time, out of all of the times he has visited. I was changing my son on a bench at the salon, only because they inconveniently have zero changing tables in their bathroom. I used a Gathre changing pad ( black and leather) to put under his bottom to prevent him from the dirtiness of whatever could've been on the bench. Another stylist by the name of Paula, next door to my stylist, ran and told the manager by the name of Charlye about the "issue." The manager Charlye then confronts my stylist and has her contact me to tell me that what I did was wrong. I then call the manager Charlye to see why changing him where I changed him was a big deal if they have no changing table. She gave me zero valid answers. She continued to talk about leaving him at home, as I mentioned early I don't have the convenience of. She also stated I could change him on the sink. A sink where it could be slippery, he could fall, there are no straps, etc. How not safe is that? I then mentioned maybe they should buy one from target or somewhere cheap and she insisted they weren't going to get any because no other location had them. All in all, she gave me no solution. What kind of manager is that? I called back to get the corporate number, maybe they could give me a better response as to what to do because I'm a loyal paying customer. Charlye hangs up on me. I then show up to the location and she pretends she's not in the office. As soon as I leave, she walks right out after me. Extremely unprofessional way of handling a situation that could've easily been solved by allowing me to talk to someone who had the authority to help me. Love my stylist, but I feel discriminated against at this establishment.
