I went to see Carol. She was so friendly to chat with, and did a quick and awesome job. Add bonus was getting to play with her 3 pound Yorkie, Bella :) Found my new place for haircuts. It was $16 and tipped $10 because that still beats anywhere else I've been to. Definitely worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I once got a haircut at TL&C before my first big gig, which I was really nervous about. Not only did Carla give me an amazing cut and blowout, she talked me through my nerves and I left that salon feeling so good and confident about my show. I cannot appreciate her enough for that.
My roommate gets her hair cut with Lourdes at TL&C as well. I have only heard great things about Lourdes from both my roommate and my other friends who get their haircuts from her. Like the other reviews say, make sure to call and make a reservation because the excellent hairdressers at TL&C get booked fast.
Lourdes is wonderful and really takes her time cutting your hair. She is truly a gem. She's very sweet and will really work hard to give you what you want. I highly recommend calling and making a reservation as she is so busy. For the price, this place cannot be beat.
If you're wondering where all the good haircutters went when they left the shop in the shopping center, they got together and started this shop. If you want to be confident that you are going to get a good cut, you can't lose if you go to this place. Everyone here is very good.
