I asked for a gentle trim up and showed a picture of what id like and i got something not even remotely close with no warning and took off WAY too much of my hair with 0 warning
I don't write yelp reviews but this was the worst salon experience I ever had. I went in to get my hair cut shoulder length, make my blond hair caramel color and keep some of my highlights. I left with medium brown hair, blotchy highlights , and my hair is 3 inches off my shoulders.
I decided to go darker on a whim and found Salon Lux by chance. I have had issues with hairdressers at other salons not listening to what I want and simply squeezing me in between appointments resulting in a rushed job. Kristen listened to everything I had to say, made sure that we were on the same page and took her time. The cut and color came out beautiful. She was so sweet and accommodating. I would recommend her to my friends.
Now that salons are open again, I decided to pamper myself and get an appointment. I've been at salon lux before to buy products but never for hair service. There advertisement popped up on my FB feed and thought why not. Also, saw a segment on a local tv station with the owner explaining their new cleaning procedures. It made me feel safe to go. I have to say, kudos to them for the constant communication on when they weed taking appointments, to their new protocols. When I hit There, I filled out a health form and had my temp taken. The staff was friendly and very organized. I met my stylist, Jenna. She listened to me and took the time to evaluate my hair. I am happy with the service and outcome. She even recommended a product fir my hair that I purchased. I will be going back. Good job salon lux!
Salon Lux is amazing! I have gone every year for homecoming/prom for my updos and makeup. Mackenzie is great with makeup! And I go regularly for my hair cut and book with Megan. She is so sweet and great:) Love this place
