My friend booked an appointment with Felicia Bobst for my birthday in February when she was still at Salon Lofts on Stringtown road as well. After not doing what my friend or I asked her to do with my hair (I asked for full highlight with ashy toner but I got 5 uneven brassy streaks in my hair instead), she said she would reschedule. Every time our appointment time came, she would cancel 2-10 minutes beforehand. She would give an excuse like she slept in or forgot she had another client. She moved to Sola Salon a week ago and today, 3/26/23, I was finally set to have my appointment with her at 8 am and 10 minutes before our appointment she cancelled. I hired a babysitter and even reminded her we had an appointment a few days before and her excuse was she slept in again. I would not schedule an appointment with her unless you feel like wasting your valuable time and not receiving the services you wanted.
Got my eyebrows done from Rana. She is amazing with the little massage, and skin lifting and creams. Plus she is really friendly. Loved my experience!! Would definitely recommend her for the brows!
If you're in the market for a new hair guru, go see Kristen Pfahler. She listens to what her clients want, but also provides recommendations based on process to the hair, hair type, etc. The loft is very clean and she's always on time.
Went to Rana at Polaris for an eyebrow and "another" wax and I was VERY impressed. I really was over the moon happy with my eyebrows wax. First she massages your face, temples, brows and places this vibrating thing on your brows to relax them. I felt like dozing off. She waxed a little, did some threading & plucking and I looked in the mirror and was floored at the gorgeous arch I never knew could happen with my brows. I was like GET OUT OF HERE......she is a miracle worker truly. Also you feel like you have known her forever, super friendly, took absolutely time and care with my service. I live in Springfield and will definitely drive for her waxing.
Kimmy continues to amaze me with her wonderful job with my hair. She really takes pride in her work and you can tell by how she works with the hair and also with the customers. Everytime I come in all the customers are so happy to be there and leave raving about their hair! Today Kimmy helped a nice older lady with her hair. Bless her heart she took the lady from the loft all the way to her car when she was all done! You definitely want to come in and schedule an appointment with Kimmy!
