I am here yesterday bc my normal salon was full. I requested a gel pedicure. The moment I sat down I felt rushed, the tech started lifting up my pants left, and the water was so hot. I told her the water was hot, but maybe she did not hear me. She then started to drill my old gel off my toes and the drill was so high that it was burning, I stated to her several times that its burning to a point I had to pull my feet away, she got upset and told she will cut me by mistake if jump like that again, I told her to turn down her drill bc its was burning, she proceeded to continue to the other toe which was worst. She then told me to put my foot in the water and she starts to clip my toes on my left foot. My 4th toe on my right foot was burning so bad in the water, I told her twice and she ignored me to a point I took my foot out examined it and relaxed to but down to later of my nail bed, it was a small area that was clearly red and irritated, said it was the natural color of nail bed. At that point she stops doing my nails and grabs the girl at front desk, who told me she was going to get me another tech, but nobody came so I put on my shoes and went up to the desk. She gave me a $10 gift card which I will not be using bc I will never come back. I came to this place years ago and couldn't figure out why I never came back. Now I remember, they are rude, and rush you out the door and have the nerve to have a sign to say cash tips only!!! This is a chop shop that just cares about money. I see why I stop going to these types of establishments years ago. never again!!!!
They put acrylics on my nails when I did not need them. I know nothing about nails and I allowed it for a year. I just went to someone new and was told that I never needed acrylics and they just wanted my money
the BEST!! Tom is my favorite!!! Walk in anytime!! I love the BAR and love the discount!
Not impressed with the service at this salon. Walking in the door, the girl standing at the counter never greeted me, with a hello or how can I help you, she just stood there, I finally said I'd like a pedicure and my dip nails soaked off and just a plain manicure. Her response was no you can have them removed but no manicure we only do one procedure. I asked why. She said that's the limit. I have never heard this, my gut told me to walk out now, find another salon. She told me to pick my color. I did and was called for the pedicure. Sat in the chair until a technician came, then ran the water told me to put my feet in, I have never had that hot of water where I couldn't put my feet in, she had to cool it down. During the pedicure she poked me under the nail on my big toe so hard I jumped. She did not address my dry heals. She was in a rush. When finished with that I was relieved not relaxed in anyway. Next the removal of my powder dip nails. The very first thing she tried to do was clip them I said your not clipping them now are you because these are thick and they were way over due for a removal, before I had to rush out of town for a family emergency, she just put the clippers back down and pulled out a box of acrylic nail tips and starts to size them up. I said these are powder dip then pulls out the cotton and foils and begins grinding and wrapping. I am used to my salon back home they soak and wrap them, after 20 minutes they gently rub the dissolved power off, nope not here, they totally slop on the remover and foil and your entire hand is soaked. When she finished wrapping the second hand she was already opening the first and tried to remove by rubbing and grinding, the residue off, I said don't destroy my nail bed please, I have had this done several times can't you just let them soak, she proceeded her way. Again very disappointing. Save your time, sanity and money. Wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.
I had previously had a pretty good experience here which is why I came back. However on my last experience they gave me someone who seemed very inexperienced and very confused (he kept going to the manager for help). After quite a bit of confusion, my nail tech was switched three times (not because I was asking) for a simple gel manicure. They then charged me an extra five dollars for shaping my natural nails almond as part of a basic gel manicure. I have never had to pay extra at their salon or any other salon for such a basic shape on my natural average length nails, especially when it was because they gave me someone who didn't seem experienced and had to keep asking the manager questions. Overall, I was pretty disappointed, I had better experiences here in the past but will likely be going back to my old salon. Would not recommend this place
