Salon Lofts Grandview in Columbus, OH

One star is too much. I had an appointment at 5:30pm with Mandy. I arrived a few minutes early and texted that I was there. No response. I texted again a few minutes later,no response. I waited for 20 minutes in the parking lot for a response and nothing. I got stood up. I left after 25 minutes. Later I text her to see what happened. No response. Finally,later that evening she responded and tried to tell me she texted and called me. Nooooooooo! I sent her proof that I texted her. I should charge Her for being a no call no show! Very unprofessional. And an insult to me,a paying customer to waste my time like that. Salon Lofts should compensate ME for my time. Oh well. This nutcase lost $160.00 as I tip well.

could not find the location for Salon Lofts Gradview on 5th: so this is a review for them. Specifically for Brienna Weldon, the most out-going, sweetest, real, and charismatic master colorist and stylist Columbus has to offer. Brienna is AMAZING at what she does, I have been to many salons that have completely butchered my hair or would take on tasks when their expertise could not deliver. I have thick, dark, Asian hair and she was able to lighten it so much. I wanted to go ashy gray and she explained the process, listened to me, worked her magic, and now I cannot wait until my next appointment to keep going lighter. If you've never been to a Salon Lofts, their concept is to have each artist be their own boss, set their own prices, decorate their own loft, have their own product, it's a full experience and very personable. it WILL take time for you to find your ultimate fave, but i PROMISE you, Brienna is exactly what you're looking for if you're wanting a fun and talkative hair stylist. her work is amazing, does all types of colors and bayalages, cuts are awesome, and will do whatever she can to accommodate your schedule. can't explain how pleased i am with her service.

ODDEST walkin arrangement ever. There is No receptionist, or desk for one. All of the styling stations are in closed little rooms with glass doors. The front window sign says "WalkIns Welcome", but- You have to walk through the hallway and knock on every door where someone is working, wait for them to stop working, peer out the door and then ask them if they have time to do a haircut! No? Then you're supposed to go to the next door. And the next one... No Thank You.

I have been coming here for awhile, and only have positive things to say! I have actually been a few different "lofts" here, but they all have been a great experience. I would recommend Salon Lofts to anyone -- it is easy to book and relatively affordable.

I've been getting my haircut here for years. This is a business where people rent spaces, so there are many services in the building. My hairdresser is Sookey, who always does an amazing job!
