Salon Kisha in Canton, OH

Please do not go here! I went for a pedicure and gel extensions. Worst pedicure of my life! The nail tech told me she was hungover. She skipped filing my nails and did nothing with my cuticles. Polish was sloppy and all over the skin surrounding the nails. The gel extensions are not much better. They look so bad. So sloppy. I have also had a haircut at this salon. That was bad also. I asked for my hair to be cut to right about my shoulders. Instead, my hair stops right under my ears. These people should not be allowed to run a salon. Unprofessional and terrible work. Avoid at all costs.

Sarah R. has been doing my nails and hair for awhile now. She listens to what I want and directs me as needed. She is always flexible and has accommodated my occasional desperate attempts to get in before a certain date for some special occasion. I always feel more beautiful leaving than when I walked in the door. My daughter has seen Emily (as have I for a great updo!) for her hair and we could not be more pleased. Great staff, competitive pricing, relaxed atmosphere. I love it here :)

I've been going here for a little over a year. I have to say, I really enjoy this salon. I see Nicole for my hair and she does an excellent job. Definitely listens to what I have to say when it comes to my hair. I've also gone to get my eyebrows waxed and it's always been great. Everyone is always friendly here and I've never felt pressured to purchase products (I hate when places do that!).

Very friendly staff, however, I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received! I bought a groupon for a basic mani-pedi. I was told during my pedi that "my feet weren't bad" despite not having a pedicure in well over 3 years. She barely scrubbed them, certainly not enough to do anything. Surprise surprise my feet are still rough! I was then talked into upgrading to shellac polish instead of the basic manicure because it was supposed to last 2 weeks. Less than 48 hours later I was already experiencing some major chipping. I was on vacation at this point so it wasn't as if I had my hand in water for long periods of time like I normally would at home. So I spent the next three days with the polish chipping constantly then on the 6th day of this 14 day manicure I couldn't take it anymore and peeled the remaining 4-5 nails off. Now my nail beds are dry and peeling lol. I am so disappointed with this service. I am very particular about what I put on my nails because I have natural nails and I trusted Nicole with the shellac and it turned out to be nothing more than a gimmick. I will never ever return to this place!!

I wish I would of seen the yelp reviews before coming here! Now I warn you, I wouldn't be considering this place to get your hair done. Honestly, find somewhere better! Pros: From the looks, it looks like a good place to come and get a new haircut. Plus it's super friendly. Cons:You come out regretting you ever trusted them with your locks, and it's WAY over priced. My hair stylist was Michelle, and despite all the praise she seems to get for her "great haircuts," I'd have to disagree. Maybe it was a bad day? Who knows. What I do know is I'm not coming back. P.S. I wouldn't trust them with your nails either.
