Cost Cutters in Canton, OH

First time ever at Cost Cutters, got all over color and highlights today. My stylist was Courtney at the West Tusc location in Canton, Ohio. I was very impressed with her level of professionalism and how warm and welcoming she was. She took the time out to talk to me about what I wanted as well as what would be best for the overall health of my hair. I'm absolutely in love with my hair and had a wonderful experience. I am always pleased with the service here. Stacie is wonderful and never disappoints me. I get positive complements on my hair quite often. The last visit one of the staff, Nicole came in with a bad attitude but that's the only time I've seen this. I hope she worked out whatever was bugging her because no one wants to see that.

A shame you HAVE to leave a "star", came in even reading the review of how bad this place is, to at least get my own opinion of the place, states on the website they close at 7, apparently they close at 5, There was a gentleman getting a haircut AND an additional stylist free, I ask if able to take walk ins and replies "yes" and then says "oh no sorry we close at 5" and yet it still wasn't 5 o'clock? I get a simple Cut which takes 10-15 min TOPS. Guess I'm just floored they would turn away business at a time where most are struggling. Horrible customer service and poor business ethic in my opinion!

DIRTY!UNSAFE! BEWARE!Left me bald The worst salon experience of my life that has left lasting effects. This has taken a while for me to write as it's still very upsetting. To many the hair is a security blanket and mine is completely gone! My stylist didn't listen to anything I said nor did she follow the picture. Instead of a pixie cut I was a Rooster. The only thing I could do was cut away the weird bunches of hair molded at the top to pretty much be left with a buzz cut. My gorgeous red locks gone!!! The stylist knew she had messed up and kept commenting how I could play it up by getting my eyebrows done and how thick my hair was anyway. She was a disaster. Had she never worked with curly hair before or was she just that bad at her job? Not only did she DESTROY my hair and cut my mother's in the wrong style, but I learned my aunt had been there and they messed hers up. Can they not cut ethnic hair.?! While sweeping up all my hair there was also black hair in the mix! Someone else's from the day before! I was the first client that day and red hair. DIRTY!!!!!! And while I appreciate a bit of chat the other stylist in the room kept talking about how covid-19 is fake and hospitals are faking the numbers. That is very concerning for the safety of the clients! Now I will spend the next six years growing my hair back out hiding behind hats and my tears. I will never go back to any salon let alone any Cost cutters!
