Met with Carina at Herartistry salon. What a friendly stylist who really knows her stuff. I needed a bad haircut to be 'fixed' and she did an amazing job of patiently listening and creating a plan to get me and my hair to a much better place. She suggested products without pushing and provided me with a real education about the status of my hair. Can't wait to go back to try color! Went in a mess and came out fabulous! Thanks, Carina ....
Christiana is wonderful! I live out of state but am getting married in Buffalo in the fall. I've been struggling for months to find a hair stylist for the big day during my trips to Buffalo. I went to a few of the big name salons in the area only to pay an arm and a leg for a trial and walk out with what they called a "sloppy version" of what they would do on the day of the wedding. I'm not risking my big day to someone that can only give me a "sloppy version." I was fortunate enough to find Christiana online and view her work. When I arrived for my trial, I expressed to her my concerns. She spent over an hour with me at the trial and asked me for feedback along the way. The end result was beautiful, nothing sloppy about it. She truly is a Fairy Blonde Mother. Can't wait to work with her again the big day!
Bad experience, I called the place to make an appointment but they do not have a receptionist. It was the owners phone and the voice mail said to leave a message or text and texts are returned faster. So, I texted and want to make an appointment but wanted to see around what price it would cost me "a quote". A quote isn't an exact price, it's an estimate. I explained my color hair and what I wanted and she stated I could come in for a consult but could not give a quote over the phone. What salon does that? I have never called a salon and not received a quote. I am here on vacation and do not have time to come in for a quote unless I am getting my hair done. The sad thing is I had already made up my mind to come but wanted to know what it would cost me. She lost my business and a bad review on top of it. Xoxo She proceeded to text me to harass me after she read the review. Told me I am not now nor will I ever be a customer of hers. That's obvious :)
This place is great! Prices are reasonable and making appointments are easy, able to get you in quickly if needed. Christiana is wonderful! She did a great job on my hair after it was neglected for a while. I am excited to have found her!
Stacie and her crew did all of the hair for my wedding this past summer in East Aurora and we couldn't have been happier! She has such a lovely personality and was very easy to work with, at her salon and on-site for the wedding. While I didn't get any color done, I can say that her updo's are phenomenal as well.
