The daughter was able to fit me in right before closing time. She was super friendly and nice! She gave me exactly what I wanted , and this wendsday she's bleaching and coloring my hair. Super excited!!!

I will not ever go back to this place! I went in for a facial and it was an uncomfortable experience to say the least. I told her that I have sensitive skin but she was scrubbing my face really hard, I got a glimpse of what she was using and it was Saint Ives! I could have bought that at Walmart and done it myself! There was no relaxing facial massage, and the chair did not lay down so my back hurt the whole time. And when I was done with this torture she told me to go wash my own face with cold water. I have never experienced such an unprofessional salon service. My fourteen-year-old daughter could have done a better job.

I haven't gotten a haircut in a while (3-4 years) and I had heard that the lady that worked there did good haircuts and i didn't know anywhere else to go so I went there in hopes to get a good haircut at a good price. I went in thinking that I just wanted to get a haircut and nothing else but she kept telling me that I should bleach and dye it and so after a bit I finally gave in. Before she even touched my hair I asked her what the total pride would come out to and she told me that we would discuss that at the end, honestly I didn't feel comfortable with that answer. After she dyed it and washed it I thought I was done and didn't want her to style my hair because I knew she would be adding that to the prices so I told her I didn't care to get styled but she insisted on getting me styled and I had short hair to begin with so she didn't have to put much dye or bleach in. At the end I asked her what the total would be and she told me that it would be $300, at the end my hair did look good but the price was not worth it. I thought she was joking because I may have not gone to salons much before but I knew that $300 for short hair is overpriced. I didn't have that much on me and tried to make her understand that my hair wasn't even long and that I i didn't have that much on me and she started getting aggressive and she told me to give her what I had which was $170 and so I gave it to her but I will never go there again because she will keep insisting you to do more to your hair and not ask you what you want and will tell you what she wants to do to it and will insist on her ideas rather than yours

I usually don't write negative reviews but I really felt like I needed to say something. I went in to Salon Focus last week to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. Before she started, I looked at the price list and saw that eyebrows were $3 and upper lip was $3 so I proceeded with the service. Once she was done and I went to pay, she charged me $16! I questioned her on the price, showing her that the price list showed $3 and $3. She told me that the price list was "two or three years old" and that the current price is $8 each. I looked around the salon and noticed a stack of the price lists on each station as well as the front desk, all listing the price of $3 for brows and $3 for upper lip. She became increasingly demanding on the price, so I just paid it and left without further questioning it. I left feeling very disappointed! I will never go back to this salon. Which is a bummer because once I find a place that I like and trust, I am a customer for life. Just be careful and verify the price with her before proceeding with the service. Do not trust the price sheet.
