Salon Dor in Dallas, TX

This review is for Tony. I scheduled an appointment with him online, super easy! I received multiple confirmations including day of reminding me of my appointment at 12:30. I walked into the salon at 12:30 introduced myself and he told me that the woman he was as working on had flown in and I'd have to wait. It took me an hour to drive there, I couldn't wait. Very unprofessional. I gave him this afternoon to reach out to me to try to reschedule and I've not heard from him or anyone at the salon.

Sebastian and Israel are super welcoming and fun. The new store locations is amazing. Very well done and relaxing vibes. I get my haircut with them every couple of months. They know how to make me look good!

Best hair cut ever!! Fernando is awesome! He was so great my husband came in and got a hair cut right after. I came back the very next day for a dye. I'm so impressed! Great products. I was a walk in. I also bought some of the jewelry upfront. Loved the whole experience.

Just moved to a new part of town and had to find a salon at the last minute for a same day appt. I booked on yelp where it showed that Sebastien was available. They called me and asked how I'd heard of them and if I'd been there before. I said no and they told me that Sebastien wasn't available. They booked me with another stylist. It was warm in the salon. I liked that there aren't wall to wall mirrors or crazy bright lights. The color work was a little rough and sloppy. Coverage is fine. The cut is okay but probably less professionally executed than what I've had done at Toni & Guy. It's not as polished and doesn't lay as cleanly as I'd like. I picked up a product and the total was like $220. I could have done the same at Toni & Guy for like $170. I won't be back.

Two weeks ago I had made a 9:30 am appointment with Israel to get my hair colored before going out of town with my boyfriend. Later they asked to switch it to 10:30 am which I agreed after making adjustments to my schedule; I arrived on time to the salon to find out that Israel wasn't there and waited over 40 minutes for him. After multiple failed attempts to reach him by phone and texts to get some sort of update as to when he would arrive I was forced to leave. This whole experience and lack of punctuality force my boyfriend and I had cancel our trip and I never received a call for an explanation, apologize or an attempt to reschedule.
