My baby turned six months old, and I hadn't gotten my hair done since almost two years, so I was itching to get my hair styled asap! I found Michelle and Manny on Yelp and contacted them. We met for a consult because Michelle wanted to make sure what I wanted was something that could be done with my hair, and recommended a different method that would look great and be more time/cost effective. Then we booked the actual hair appointment, which ended up being a super fun experience with both Michelle, Manny, and their adorable dogs! They are super funny and accommodating, and they turned on some shows for me so I wouldn't be bored. Hair turned out great, and I am already eagerly awaiting the next time I will be meeting them for my touch up!

Have you ever been in a spot where you have been searching for "the one"? You know, the one that just knows what you need? Michelle and Manny - they are the IT couple. Michelle has taken me from shoulder-length hair to below my waist hair....from "meh" color .... to va-va-voom color. On my most recent visit, I had her cut my hair. I mean REALLY cut my hair. I was tired of sitting on it....and silly me...was influenced by those voices in my head telling me that I am too old for long hair. As I continue to get used to my new shorter hair, I plan on maintaining trims so I can get the length back....and this time...oh my, Michelle added SILVER into my hair. It is stunning. She and Manny take care of not only me....my sons too. My sons are mixed race and they taught them (and me) how to take care of their hair...and did some cool styles on them. They are EXPERTS with color. They can even correct hair that has been destroyed (okay, that is dramatic) by box dye. You know, they kind you get off the shelf at the store and do in your kitchen right over the sink. Yes, that kind. Save your pennies and get it done right. You will not be disappointed. If I could triple the stars given, I would give them. The salon is small and cozy. It is a very intimate place where you can get your chair therapy and Netflix on. I always enjoy my time with these two. From current events to current binge-worthy shows...they are keepers! Thank you Manny and Michelle for taking such great care of me and my family! xo

Michelle is amazing! I have been going to her for years, and she's never disappointed. She has adapted incredibly well to COVID by sanitizing thoroughly and being considerate of my health and safety. She has her own private space and she has great amenities. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Buh-Bye Covid hair thanks to Michelle! It's been 3 1/2 months since my last appointment & I needed a cut, color, & highlights. Michelle got everything done for me & I feel beautiful again. My hair looks & feels great & I could pick up my favorite product -California Glam 13-1. The salon (at Salon Republic) is very clean and follows all the state guidelines for reopening under covid-19 guidelines. Looking forward to my next visit!

I love spending time here. Michelle's skills are amazing. She is a very welcoming and warm person. My hair is magical ever since I started coming to see her!
