Connie is amazing! I've been going to see her ever since I moved to Issaquah. She is really excellent at what she does and so helpful with tips! My hair was seriously damaged thanks to living in black mold for a while, and Connie is really helpful and understanding about sensitivity to products and such. She recently recommended I try argan oil for moisturizing and it's a complete hame changer for the dryness of my hair!! Her prices and very reasonable and she's a joy to work with. If you're looking to get your hair cut/dyed/styled in Issaquah, look no further!!
Connie styled my hair for my friends wedding. I wanted my hair down in loose curls and she did exactly that. Thrilled with her skill and her location right next to the village theater. I paid $30 to have my hair curled with a curling iron and then have hair spray applied. I would say this is a good deal and was pleased with her services. Next time im in Issaquah I'll ask for her.
Followed Connie from Hairmasters, through several locations, now she's like my own little secret tucked away on the end of Rainier nobody knows is there. It's a private house shared with another hair salon. Not just a great haircut, someone worth sharing leads and opinions with, a yelp* with chair. Be careful not to step on Snowball when you pay at the counter. She should charge more.
I've known Connie for a long time, as she cuts my mom and a lot of her friends' hair. That said, her versatility and sense of style never fails to make a strappin' young buck look fresh. Her skills are technically sound and she has a strong grasp of matching hairstyles to facial geometries and hairlines. She's super friendly and personable; I would recommend her to anyone! But I guess I'm a little biased; her lucky haircut helped me nail the job interview I was prepping for ;)
Connie is the first and only person I let color my hair. I have long hair that is hard to cut and color. She does a great job for a reasonable price.
