Salon 10 in Norfolk, VA

Took my daughter here bc there wasn't many places during covid19. When I called one lady started to talk to me then handed the phone over mid conversation. So after repeating myself they told me to come in at 1. When I got here no one took my name down and two ladies went back and forth as to who may of answered the phone. The lady said are you sure you're at the right place. I said yea. She said what time did you call. I looked at my call history and confirmed I called. At 10:40 at which I dialed again. And the phone rang. I said I called this number. So the lady said a couple of time no one gave you an appointment. There was clearly no one here. So I'm not sure why they wanted to argue about an appointment. Not a good experience based on that.

The worst hair salon in Norfolk, Virginia. If you want your hair messed up then Tiffany is the one for you. The lady charged me extra because my hair is 100% natural. She "detangled" my hair without even wetting it. That should have been my first hint to walk out of the door. She talks about clients once they leave in front of other clients. Very unprofessional. Please save your more and go elsewhere. I will be cutting all of my hair off because tiffany is not skilled in her profession. Wish I could give zero stars, but that is not an option. Thank you.

The absolute worst hair salon in Norfolk. They swear they are fluent in relaxed and natural hair care but I've been here with both types of hair and they are horrible. I keep telling myself not to go back but I had no choice today. I simply came in for a wash and blow dry. 1st red flag, they don't open on time. 2nd red flag I left and came back only to stand outside for 5 minutes because no one was answering the door bell. I get inside and a stylist is waxing her chin with the eye brow wax....right in front of the shampoo section. 3rd flag, I'm natural and the stylist tired to comb my dry hair b4 washing it... she used very little shampoo and next to no conditioner. All natural stylist know conditioner is MANDATORY FOR natural hair care. Once she washed me, she tried to blow dry my entire hair without sectioning or detangling. The worst part was she was in the phone with one of her friends and not even paying attention to me telling her she has to section my hair off b4 blow drying. Stylist were in the salon talking about the manager and other stylists that were there. It was just a horrible experience. As I'm getting my bags to leave, I could hear one of the senior stylist talking about gay men and it's nasty what they do. I'll never return here again.
