Finally found a fantastic stylist! I have struggled finding a stylist who is willing to listen and truly care about my hair needs and wants. Wish I had known about Patricia when we moved to midtown 12 years ago. She never acted rushed. She took time to ask pertinent questions before coming up with a plan. Then she patiently demonstrated and talked me through how to maintain the style between visits. I highly recommend Patricia at Ross Edward Salon. Looking forward to many more visits to come.
I have been a satisfied customer for many years. Due to the Covid virus (& the fact that I now live 2 1/2 hours from Tulsa) it has been 5 months (March 10) since I had my hair done. I "bit the bullet" & waited it out because I have a lot of confidence in Ross with my cuts & color. My drive home today is definitely a happy drive because he worked his magic again.
I have been trusting Ross for with my hair for the past few years. I have seen many salons and stylists in the Tulsa area and I have no plans of ever leaving Ross's care. My hair was dry and overprocessed. Ross has colored, treated and cut my hair in a way that my hair stays soft and salon beautiful for the months between appointments. I also take my daughter and mom when she is here from Phoenix. The other thing I love about Ross is that you are his only focus when in his salon. He does rush and takes time to really focus on the best for you and your hair. Plus you can tell that he really enjoys what he does - and he is not fearful to tell you what he thinks would be best for you! He is a jewel!
So on a lark, I decided to go to get my hair colored and Ross Edward was right there conveniently in my hotel. The staff there (especially Patricia) was very cordial and professional as they helped me set up an appointment.
I showed up on time and didn't have to wait at all. I was a little apprehensive because most hairstylists are skittish around my afro but Patricia proved to be very confident and competent. She helped me pick out a suitable shade and told me what my feasible options were which was much appreciated. I have super super thick afro hair but she was able to thoroughly cover it in the magic hair color goo in a very short period of time. Then she offered me beverages while i sat and waited for it to set.
Then my favorite part, the hair washing! Patricia has magic hands! It was just about the most relaxing thing I've ever felt. I am actually perfectly willing to just have her massage my head all day. My color turned out beautifully.
As far as I'm concerned, Ross Edward Salon is the best salon I've ever been in. The decor, the staff and the service are top notch.
Been to a lot of salons and hair cutting places in Tulsa. This one did a great job. The stylist (Brooke) really knew what she was doing. A bit pricey for a men's cut, but you really do get what you pay for.
