Rose Hair Salon in Hollister, CA

i have been going to the Rose for a very long time and when i moved to Sacramento, i would drive to Hollister on a Saturday and Rose would make time to do my hair!!! I would recommend The Rose highly!!

I went to Rose due to the positive reviews, and the fact that she had curly hair listed as one of her areas of expertise. Big mistake. She's a very nice person and great to talk with and thats the only reason I didn't give this a 1 star because she is a very nice lady, but the hair cut I got was one of the worst I ever got. I have long, natural curly hair and wear it in a very simple long layered style. Nothing fancy. She did get the dried, dead ends off, but it wouldn't lay right and it was not blended in whatsoever. I ended up going to Super Cuts in town and Angelica fixed it. When she lifted my hair upward to cut it, you could see how off it was, like 1 1/2 to 2in off in most places. I said, "Omg, so I wasn't out of my mind!" She simply said, "No, you weren't."

If you're like me, ladies, finding someone who knows how to cut your hair can be really daunting sometimes. Hollister residents, and those willing to drive, need look no further. The Rose is a wonderful, homey place. Rose herself cut my hair on the night I went there and she's not only sweet as she can be, but, extremely talented. I can't remember when I enjoyed a cut this much! So, if you need a haircut, RUN don't walk to The Rose! You won't be disappointed! And, at $35, it won't break the bank, either.

For an extremely small salon, I LOVED IT! Very boutique. I went here last week to get my hair did when my stylist started working at two salons. I loved that I literally sat down and even to get my hair washed was in the same chair. As always Stacie did an amazing job.

This place is great! It's quaint, cozy and Rose gives great service. I was in town just visiting but everyone that goes there loves the place and goes on a regular basis. The little chiwawa that has the run of the place is very cute too!
