RiNo Nail Bar in Denver, CO

We had a great experience after a suggestion from a friend. Called ahead to be seen at 11:30 and it was still busy but we were seated by 11:40. Our techs both were cautious and did their best to match the vibe of our design references. Tons of colors to choose from, and $100 for a full set with acrylic, gel manicure with art. I loved the feel of the shop but I would suggest a mask for anyone Covid conscious as it was packed in there.

Never have I ever gotten my nails done with gel and had them chip a day after...what's interesting is I actually heard two, not one, but two people come in during my visit to get their nails fixed with the "10 day guarantee." Of course, when I called and told them about my two nails that had broken by this point, they said I could come in. But why would I want to? To get the same type of service? What good is that? Also I already spent two hours getting them done in the first place, I don't have an hour to spare just whenever. Y'all should be offering next full set free if you're truly confident in your work. Very overpriced for low quality results.

I wanted to like this place as it's so close to me, but unfortunately every time I've been it's been absolutely chaotic and it's always a toss-up with how good my dip comes out depending on the nail tech. I usually make a reservation a few days before my appointment and still end up having to wait 15-20 minutes when I get there and check in because I don't think they have any system to manage their scheduled appointments vs walk in. I've had a few good technicians where my dip has lasted over a month with very few chips if any, but also had technicians who have filed down my nail too deep leaving a crease in my nail, or dip applied so thick it chips within a couple weeks. Also I find their seats extremely uncomfortable, it's like a fluffy bar height seat that is impossible to relax in.
If you must go, I definitely recommend you try to get one of the girls to be your nail tech as they are a lot more careful and detailed. Also never go on a weekend unless you thrive in chaotic environments.

The girl (receptionist) who did my nails simply did not slay, she did not cuticle prep which has now resulted in the nail lifting within a couple of weeks but as she was doing my nails she kept layering on acrylic to the point where once she was done the nail was an inch thick and looked horrible. I had to ask her multiple times to drill them down and she would but never enough and didn't recognize the issue of the nails looking not great. The color was great and exactly what I was looking for and the shape isn't bad but everything else just wasn't worth $120. I went home and drilled the nails to the thickness I needed which shouldn't have been the case but is fine but now I'm dealing with lifting on all edges of my nail with such a strong center because of the amount of acrylic so I can't safely drill the nails down to close any gaps. Lifted nails are huge risks for fungal infections so I'm a little upset that quality and time weren't taken into account with doing my nails and probably wouldn't come here again. I will say the other two techs who did my friends nails did amazing work for them so it must just be hit or miss on the tech!

If you want a rushed, low quality, over-priced manicure, go here. These guys are all about doing the absolute minimum. I can't blame the staff completely. If I was stuffed into a poorly ventilated manicure assembly line like a sardine and forced to do walk-in after walk-in, I'd try to get away with doing a half-a*sed job too. The vibe is get in, give us your money, and get the f out.

The girl didn't even get my old nail polish off all the way! I paid $66 plus tip for this, lol.
