Love Revel Hair Studio! The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. Daniel is truly THE best with color and cuts! My hair looks amazing every time I leave. Daniel does a great job understanding exactly what you are looking for and making suggestions. Walter is always on hand to make sure you are comfortable and does an amazing job with shampoo and glaze. He makes you feel pampered and special! Thank you for keeping my hair looking fresh and stylish!

Just wanted to post an update after 3+ years of seeing Daniel as a client of Revel! First of all, the new salon space is gorgeous. It's fun, trendy and spacious. It's easy to get to, and there is tons of parking. I love the vibe and the hard work he and his team put into the space is so evident. It's beautiful and relaxing. I love it! At my most recent appointment in December, I switched up from my normal blonde balayage and toned it down with a warm bronde/light brown balayage closer to my natural hair color. My color still looks amazing after three months out. Daniel knew exactly what I wanted when I asked for a dimensional darker bronde. I never know the technical ways to describe what I'm after, but Daniel just knows. He's that good, and just so talented as a colorist. My hair vibe is natural looking dimensional color with a flattering cut. Lucky for me, that is Daniel's specialty. At Revel I always get what I ask for. Daniel is amazing at giving me low maintenance cuts and color. I'm confident no one else would be able to color my hair, making it look so fresh and beautiful for months on end, other than Daniel. He's a hair wizard for sure. I've never felt more confident in a hair stylist than I do with Daniel!

Went in with high expectations based on reviews, but didn't even go through with a color/appointment just based on my consultation experience alone. Daniel's demeaner was completely short and unwelcoming the entire time. I arrived for my consultation at 6pm to the building doors being locked, and Daniel acted as if it was my fault/I was severely inconveniencing him for coming down to open them for me. I would've happily came earlier if I knew/was notified of that. When I entered the salon, it was just messy and looked gross to be in. The decor is weird and there was a door that said "Tattoo" right in the sitting area? Daniel rushed around without bothering to acknowledge my presense. His assistant/other guy in the salon was so nice and outgoing, but otherwise it was a total cold shoulder and I felt burdensome to him to be there. I will give Daniel credit that he is knowledgable in his craft and he gave feedback based on what I was discussing with him. However, the lack of "salon side manner" will not have me coming again, and I cancelled my appointment.

Update: Daniel reached out to me following my review and refunded me of the services and even offered to correct and get the color right. There was a very weird mixup with the communication and somehow our messages weren't reaching each other. Finally got in contact with Daniel last week and we sorted everything out. He was very kind and apologetic and took responsibility. Huge turnaround from last year but, it's all good. He is definitely skilled, nonetheless, which is why I chose him in the first place. But, personally, I'd rather have natural hair for the time being. Unfortunately we had a mix up but I'd still recommend him for your hair needs.

After the elevator goes to 4th floor of the Nortec office building (free parking all around), a simple door at the end of the hallway opens into a most beautiful space! So charming and peaceful, so clean and spacious, with natural light from large windows looking out at trees... just relax and forget about the hustle/bustle outside, enjoy this space and time... After years of covering gray hair every 4-5 weeks, my poor hair turned into a dry, shapeless mess with different shades of colors battling gray and dark roots. Then I found Daniel! First step was to get a real haircut, which included the most wonderful hair wash and head massage by Walter (I felt so pampered!) As I'm on the lazy side when it comes to styling with heat and products, Daniel gave me a low-maintenance haircut that always looks stylish, even on my no-hair-wash days. Second step, 2 weeks later, was to go gray on purpose, with intent (so glad about the current gray blending trends!) Daniel worked magic (no smelly chemicals) and I got lovely gray highlights that gracefully blend my natural gray and brown. I'll return in 2 months for adding silver, can't wait!
