RESH Salon & Spa in New Castle, DE

I love this salon! You know when you find a good place you have to stick with them and I've been going to this salon for years. I started taking my daughter there too and her hair is so healthy now and it's growing better than it was when I took her elsewhere.

Absolutely stunning customer service. I have passed this place many times, thinking nothing of it due to its location in a pretty downtrodden strip in Elsmere, next to the Dollar General and a funky little natural foods store. Despite my impression of the outside, the inside of Bliss Elements is roomy, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished ... and it smells so nice!

I was greeted immediately by the lady at the front desk, who was friendly and transparent about the wait time and who I'd be working with. On my way back to get my hair washed, every stylist who was working with a client looked up and said hello to me. So many businesses ignore how important it is to acknowledge their customers. The staff at Bliss Elements make you feel completely welcome and attended to--even if that particular person won't be working with you.

Sonia (I think?) washed my hair (which in and of itself was a very pleasant and relaxing experience), and Brittany cut it. After washing, I was asked if I'd like something to drink. I was so floored! They brought out an iced tea for me in a big crystal goblet. Who does that??

Brittany really took the time to talk me through what I wanted, since I'm pretty ignorant and indecisive when it comes to my hair. She didn't make me feel bad for not knowing what I wanted. Conversation was natural--not awkward at all, which is a big plus in my book.

The style looks great. Whole appointment for the wash/cut took about 40 min.

All I have to say is: $25. Just wow. I couldn't recommend this business more highly.

According to their website, they offer tons of salon/spa services other than haircuts. I have to imagine these are just as fabulous.

Great atmosphere....professional, upscale and relaxing.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  I definitely felt relaxed and welcome at Bliss Elements.  Yesterday, was my first time attending and I'll definitely be back.  I went for a twist out and trim.  But, I will definitely take advantage of their facial, massages and nail services.  I was greeted warmly, and my service began on time.  I dread beauty salons because you have to give up 1/2 your life to go.  However, this was not the case.  Although, I am natural there were stylists doing other types of hair (relaxed, etc).  I'm even bringing my daughter back to get braids.  Make sure you ask about their weekly/monthly specials!  Great deals!  Did I mention they take debit cards!?  And, you can book appointments online!  I love technology!!  My stylist was Sierra - she did a beautiful sew-in before me, and she was assisted by LaQwin - best shampoo ever!

I've only ever gotten waxed here but I was very pleased! I went to Eva, who was meticulous and thorough. I'm very fussy about my brows but they looked great. Everyone I encountered there was super friendly. I'll be back!

This salon is PURE BLISS!

I was coming back to DE from ATL for a wedding, and needed my hair to be fresh since I was a bridesmaid. The place I used to go to had since shut down...so I was stuck! Now anyone who goes to hair salons knows the stresses of finally finding a good place/stylist that you can trust with your tresses. Frazzled about blindly choosing a place, I tapped into my network and quite a few people recommended this place, so I gave it a shot. BEST.DECISION.EVER.

Located in Wilmington on Kirkwood Highway going towards Elsmere, Bliss Elements is an eco-friendly full service salon and spa. Here, less is more, so they are helping the environment AND providing top-notch hair care. Can't beat that! They promote healthy, natural hair, and cater to all hair types and styles.

My stylist was Dawn who was exceptional. She is the only other stylist that achieved the exact style I wanted. Dawn, as well as the rest of the staff, was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The vibe in the place was very down to earth, which was very refreshing.

My appointment was honored (no long waiting times or bumps) and I was treated with superior customer service. In addition, the salon space was peaceful and relaxing (no inappropriate convos, loud music, hustle-man soliciting, etc). I felt completely comfortable and pampered throughout my service. I got out of the chair feeling that my service was well worth the $$$ and then some.
