Reset Salon & Spa in Midland, TX

stylist I used for one year left w/o letting clients know, left me in a big bind headed into an annual event & this salon could not have cared less. Unprofessional does not begin to describe their behavior & the stylist was a novice & best anyway & always confused me with another client & could never remember anything & I WAS a regular customer.

Mia is a super sweet girl but I went in to go just a shade or 2 lighter and left $145 short and came out with almost the same exact hair. There was literally no change but a few old highlights that were changed to the color I wanted so now I have 2 streaks of brown on my dark hair. She gave me a great cut and I regret not saying anything before I left when I texted her she basically blamed me for not telling her things she didn't ask. I went bc their prices were way better than lots of salons in midland so I guess you really get what you pay for. Like I said sweet girl but make sure to tell her every little thing bc she is won't ask.

Negative stars. I paid Kayleigh $300 to put in highlights and trim. When I called they said it starts at $90. They were partial highlights that could have cost $20 by myself or at the college. I could of had it done by a toddler and it would have looked better. When the color didn't come out right, she tried recharging me to redo it after I'd spoken with the owners wife telling me there is NO charge. They made me come back a 3rd time because they couldn't get the schedule right either. I had to book a 3rd appointment only for her to color my hair it's original color. So, I got 2 cuts, paid $300 for her to practice in my hair and get it all wrong twice. Waste of money, horrible service, rude staff, incompetent cheap stylist. She was on the phone with her mom, distracted the entire time. So fucking sorry I hope this hoe ass salon is not voted up for shit and the stylist rots. She jipped me to get fancy equipment, the owners said because she is an independent contractor there is nothing they could do. What they did was bad business all around, like dealing with a gang of bandits and assholes. Never.

Not impressed. My daughter has been to Reset Salon for a haircut twice before. The first visit went well. On our second visit the stylist tried to cancel the appt, and have us reschedule because she didn't want to do the haircut my daughter was requesting. We did end up having the cut done and it turned out ok. Yesterday evening we scheduled our third appt with Reset Salon Online( as opposed to scheduling over the phone as we had done in the past). When we scheduled the appt online there were at least 6 appts available. A credit card was required to hold the appt. We were advised that if we were to cancel at least 6 hrs prior to the haircut we would receive a refund. However, if you cancel without at least 6 hrs notice you are charged for the appt. Today as we were walking out the door to leave for the appt, and I couldn't find my car key. When I finally found the key we rushed over to the appt. We walked in appx 12 minutes late. I understand that this is an inconvenience. I apologized to the stylist for this. She then told me that she had marked us as a no show. She ask what kind of haircut my daughter wanted. It was a basic cut, nothing too difficult. At this time there was still 45 minutes left in the appt. She ask another stylist what she should do and that both agreed that they should cancel our appt. I have a hard time believing that the haircut couldn't be done in 45 minutes. She still charged me $55 for the cut that we didn't get. The website said nothing about them cancelling the appt, and as I said before, there were multiple appts available when I booked the night before. I feel like she just wanted to get paid and not have to follow through with the appt. Mia Suggested that we reschedule. No thanks, Mia, We will go elsewhere.

I have been coming to Tracy C for the last year. She is an AMAZING artist! My color looks like a boosted natural blonde every time and she nails it. She has a sparkling personality and is SO DYNAMIC. She could be a master stylist for any of the big name hair companies out there. Tracy is unique because she has vision, technical skill to execute what you want, and an eye for the aesthetic. When you go to reset you see every single client leaving looking amazing. I am so glad I have her! Everyone in this salon is amazing and professional and personable.
