Remedies Salon in Tooele, UT

I've been going to Kim for over 10 years and she does an amazing job every time. I recently tried a salon closer to home and that was a huge mistake. Luckily, Kim was able to fix my hair within three hours of me calling her. She's professional, consistent, up to date with trends and new techniques, and sweet. Everything you would want in a stylist.

If you're thinking about having Kim Smart do your permanent makeup, DON'T! Kim was recommended to my mother, who put her trust in her to permanently tattoo her eyebrows on. They are a major fail! Her technique is completely wrong. She started by tattooing the WRONG line onto her face and simply said "WOOPS". She then attempted to cover a blackish/purple (God only knows what color it was because it was wrong) with a "flesh" colored ink. She claimed it would cover it but if not, she could just put some foundation on it. EXCUSE ME?! Isn't the point of permanent makeup to get rid of the need for makeup?
After this she proceeded to draw the OUTLINE of an eyebrow and then FILL IT IN with the same God awful color. I forgot to mention that the shape is absolutely wrong as well. My mother walked out with with a permanent look of surprise on her face and Kim had the balls to charge her FULL PRICE even after her mistake. We are now spending hundreds of dollars to have the lasered off and will have to have them redone by a professional that actually knows what she is doing.  FYI- I have also found out that Kim is not certified to do tattoo.  If you're thinking of going to Kim, I wish you the best if luck. Because you're going to need it!

They are great! Super friendly and miracle workers! I had recently received a bad haircut from another place and they were able to save it! This is now my official hair salon!

Dropped by to see if I could get a quick cut (my first time to this salon).  I stood there for ten minutes without being acknowledged even though there were stylists walking in and out of the back room stalking shelves.  I finally spoke to the nearest stylist (she had seen me walk in and had looked at me standing there, but couldn't bother to even say, hi).  I stated that they looked busy, and asked if they could they fit me in for a cut.  She went back and conferred with a group and came back and said it would be forty five minutes.  I sat down and waited and waited, meanwhile watching a stylist text on her phone and others walking around chatting.  Finally, I gave up and walked out.  If you are looking for a new stylist in Tooele, don't go to Remedies!
