Rejuvenate Salon in Tukwila, WA

Absolutely horrible. This actually occurred years ago but it was one of the worst experiences I've had at a salon. I came in asking for a platinum grey ombré color for my hair AND showed the older lady who colored my hair a picture. I asked them if they were able to do it because I know not every place can pull off that technique. They told me yes so I proceeded to let them color my hair. They bleached my hair and I immediately noticed that there was ABSOLUTELY NO BLENDING between the bleach and my black natural hair color. It just looked like a line. I thought they were going to AT LEAST go over the bleach color with grey. Nope. They left it like that....I told them that IS NOT what I wanted and I even showed them a picture. They then proceeded to bleach the top part of hair also because I commented that there was no blending between the colors I'm guessing they just wanted to make me a full on blonde to get rid of the line...At this point, I was confused because they left it that way also and asked for me to pay $100 for a piece of crap job that I DID NOT ASK FOR. The blonde color that they gave me was not even nice...it was an ugly mustard color. I felt everyone in the salon staring at me in a way that their expressions said "poor girl" and my confidence had been snatched away. After my mom was complaining about the job they had done the husband of the older lady (I'm assuming) came in asking what was the trouble about and we explained it to him and even he seemed upset that they had not listened to what I asked for. After discussing in between them they told me that THEY NEVER HAD PLATINUM GREY IN STOCK IN THE FIRST PLACE! At that point, I felt taken advantage of because why are you going to tell a customer you can do a job when you don't even have the material for it and obviously cannot execute the technique well. One of them ended up going to the store and picking red dye and colored my whole hair with red dye. The red dye actually looked good but at the end of the day, IT WAS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR AND THEY MADE ME WASTE SO MUCH TIME OUT OF MY DAY. I still ended up paying the $100 but it was not even worth $20. Very sloppy job. My mom ended up picking up black dye from the store 2 days after because I couldn't take the color anymore. (The red ended up washing away for some reason and I was slowly going back to the ugly mustard color).

ugh one of the worst places ever. i used to come here a lot as a child but then again i didn't really care bc i was a kid and all i wanted was toys and never paid attention to how i look like. fast forward to last summer, i decided i wanted to get bangs. i came here bc it was lowkey cheap and ive always came here when i was younger. this lady (i don't know her name) she divided my hair in a literal zig zag formation. i didn't realize at the start bc i couldn't see anything from the mirror. the bangs came out alright, but not good. today, i came in to get a haircut and there was quite a bit of people. mostly men that were bald. i asked to get a shampoo and a cut and the wash was nice i guess. she stayed cutting my hair AND AGAIN, i could not see what was going on because she was cutting my hair from the back. she finished and let me go. i looked in the mirror which seemed like it was perfectly fine. then i got home and took a closer look and it's probably one of the worst haircuts i've gotten. note that this was the same lady that cut my bangs too. idk why i even came here. the salon is a literal garage that they remodeled to look like a salon. never ever coming here again. i wish this review helps others

I've been going to this place for years and must say that for the most part their barbers are decent and the full service salon is available for your needs. I go here primarily for a haircut and choose to work with the younger women. They always treat me well and I always get a good treatment. I would recommend this salon for the pricing, and your hospitality. As long as you tell me what you need, you are good to go!

Kay is a great stylist. Perhaps her English is not the best but, she gives the best hair cuts in town. A great stylist!!! I have been going to Rejuvenate for 5 years and have never had a complaint. It's not Jean Juarez but you will not pay $80.00 for a hair cut. I have always been happier with the cuts from Rejuvenate than Juarez not because of price but, because they listen to what I want and ALWAYS give me a fantastic cut! My husband has been going to Kay for 10 years and she always listens to how he wants his hair cut. He has made many changes to his style over the years. He wouldn't go anyplace else. If you are looking for an upscale high class salon go someplace else...if you are looking for a great cut at a great price try Rejuvenate!

If you want a bargain, go here. $8 for eyebrow wax! They do a decent job if you just need the basic and don't want to pay an arm and a leg. I recommend letting the younger ladies (30's) to do it not the older mom (she waxed my lip and left all sorts of hair and that's the worst to pluck because it hurts.)So I just get eyebrows done here. Don't get your haircut if you have long/curly hair. I wanted layers and got a Mullet. One big layer short in the front then long in the bag, took me forever to grow it out. This place is great for big families that need to stay on a budget and it seems they do a lot of men's affordable haircuts. A boy cried once when I was there, he didn't like his. They are pretty busy, so be ready to wait awhile
