1 star for being open and taking me. Every toenail was left crooked because the inexperienced tech didn't know she should change the angle of her toenail cutter. My feet were left in cold water. I had to ask for lotion and a foot massage...I got lotion. $35 is way too much $$ for something I could have done myself. Not to mention I'd have paid a lot more if I was offered one of the spa pedicures. I wasn't and looking back I'm glad I didn't spend the money.
First time here and got a pedicure. I love how quick it was & everything was done perfectly! Super happy and will be back.
My 16 year old granddaughter and I were here on Vacation and needed to get some repairs done to our current nails and toes. I had the PLEASURE of one of the owners removing my nails for me while my granddaughter had gel put on her toes. I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND PLEASED with the amount of care and time which was taken with both of us but especially to remove my current set of nails, knowing through our conversation that we were here on vacation and would not be coming back as a regular customer. Both him and is wife are very pleasant people we had a great conversation while he did my nails and there was really no awkward silence. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON WEATHER YOU CAN CONTINUE TO BE A REGULAR CUSTOMER OR JUST PASSING THROUGH!
Very efficient, but I wasn't rushed through my services. The salon was clean and the price was fair. Sometimes, I go to other nail salons for convenience, but I always come to this salon when I need a relaxing and good experience.
I came to the salon for the first time after reading some of the more favorable Facebook reviews. I did question after reading the yelp reviews the distinction between the two.
The traffic on coastal highway over the summer, as we all know, can be brutal. I phoned when I was five minutes away from the salon informing them I was going to be 5+ minutes late for my appointment. They thanked me and all was well. Or so I thought.
I was reminded by my manicurist that I was late throughout my mani/pedi appointment and consequently seemed distracted and annoyed.
She bypassed a hand massage, which is quite ordinary for a manicure. When I questioned, she responded, "Well, you were late!" (Yes, at this point the entire salon knows I was late!!!) Meantime, no one waiting for her.
Bottom line-- my mani polish is already chipping in less than 24 hours, & for $50 that's ridiculous and unacceptable.
