Regis Salon in Tacoma, WA

I'm updating this review after having Cynthia foil my hair for the first time. It had been nearly six months since my last foil so I was more than overdue. While Cynthia gave me an absolutely perfect cut, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about the color. Getting a bad foil is one thing, but a bad foil on six months of outgrowth would be impossible to hide. I went from worried to panicked after an hour passed and she was still foiling. Two hours, still foiling. Two and a half hours...done. She did remove and wash the bottom in between, but I was still worried! I even commented a couple of times about being worried about my hair. I know that hair appointments, especially foils, can be unnecessarily lengthy due to a chatty stylist, but this was not the case. Cynthia is meticulous. Extremely. After four hours she had foiled, washed, dried and straightened my hair and the end result was worth every second I sat in the chair. Like the haircut she gave me previously, the color was 100% perfection. Not too warm, not too cool, no toner needed, colored to the root and every strand a beautiful shade of blonde mixed with my natural color. I've been coloring my hair for 30 years and never had a better result. Cynthia is officially my girl and I am so happy to have found her completely by chance.

Brian H was phenomenal! He cut and styled my hair like the picture in my head. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and patient with me. I do not enjoy going to salons but the staff created a comfortable, positive environment and I thank you all for your service. I love my hair and found my new hairstylist. Thanks Brian!

Mayan (sp?) is the bomb! I was very skeptical to go to Regis. I had two very traumatic experiences at Regis when I was much younger. I got the worst perms (80's), then wanted a nice updo for prom (92). I was literally crying, attempting to restyle myself. Anyways, I got her recommendation from a friend that has the cutest haircut and color. She had it done by Mayan. She has cut, highlights and lowlights. I love it!!

I came back to Regis Tacoma after four years, I wanted to incorporate some blonde into my hair and I got lucky with the stylist Cynthia Oten! She is extremely kind and you can tell how passionate she is about her work (I believe she's been a stylist for 10+ yrs now?). I showed her some pictures of what I wanted, and she definitely exceeded my expectations. If you are looking to get your hair colored definitely schedule an appointment with her, she is very easy to talk to and she will tell you what she thinks would fit best on you. Went in yesterday to get a haircut before my job interview, worst cut i have ever received in my life. Stylist messed with the sides of my head like He didn't know what he was doing. I get a 2 on the sides and trim up top haircut that takes maybe 10 min, this took 35 min and left my head looking like i had a line going down the sides. Going today to a different salon to pay again and get this fixed hopefully.
